The air-conditioner in my 2000 GMC Yukon was working intermittently. Apparently, there are two (2) sensors that could cause this problem, one inside the and behind the dash (very hard to get to) and the other is under the hood below the passenger-side headlight (easy to get to). Hoping for the best, I replace the easy to get to sensor with this replacement, and my air-conditioner is working full-time again. This sensor is well-made and is selling at a very reasonable price.

This part fixed my problem with the ambient air temp reading. I thought it was bad to start with as it still read -40°, however after driving the vehicle for a while, the temp slowly returned to a normal reading and is now accurate. Good quality OE part, definitely recommend.

Replaced both OE ambient air sensors on 2001 Suburban 1500 (this one, which sends ambient air info to electronic HVAC controls, and second one, which sends ambient air info to electronic temp display in rear view mirror). This one matched OE, and fit correctly as to both electrical connector and mounting bracket/hole.

Got here quickly. Perfect oem replacement. 15 min. To remove grill, 2 min to find bad one, one min to snap in , and 0 min to replace grill. 30 min of time saved me about 150.00 from dealer and my a/c works perfectly.

Item didn't fit my Tahoe even though it was tagged as a fit in both Amazon and AC Delco's catalog. Had to return them.

I had to replace the wiring harness and the sensor. One thing to note, when I first tested this the reading was right on, I then unwired it and installed in to my grill. After rewiring the temp was again at -40. I unhooked the battery and let it sit over night, the reading was correct the next morning. So if you don't get the right temp right away, you may have to wait for the car to reset it. I have a 2014 Buick Regal.

I was actually very upset even though it's not an expensive part the section of Amazon that their car section tells you whether it will fit your vehicle or not and it's still saying it'll fit my vehicle it most definitely does not
