These rotors are mounted to the wheel hub where the calipers can press the brake pads against the brake surface to help stop the vehicle. ACDelco Gold (Professional) parts are manufactured to meet your expectations for fit, form, and function, making them a smart choice for General Motors vehicles, as well as most makes and models, including special applications. These high-quality parts are backed by General Motors. Some ACDelco Gold parts may have formerly appeared as ACDelco Professional.

As the headline states, the AC Delco Rotor is the exact same rotor as the Raybestos Advanced Technology / Specialty Truck rotor. I confirmed this by speaking with a Raybestos representative who offered me the part numbers for the exact product sold under different brand labels. It's not just AC Delco. Napa and others sell their label using Raybestos parts. And for those that think that because it says AC Delco, it must mean it's an OEM part. Wrong! Akebono manufactures many, if not all of the brake rotors for GM. Thinking about getting AC Delco Gold brake pads because you think they are OEM? Wrong. The OEM brake pads are made by Akebono also. The AC Delco Gold pads are made by Raybestos. Also, the AC Delco silicone brake lube is great stuff, but again, they don't manufacture it and it's the exact same product as the Raybestos silicone brake lube ( Raybestos DBL-2T) that you can get for several dollars less. Raybestos doesn't manufacture the lube either, but it's probably the best there is for slide pins.Additionally, these rotors are much higher quality than their similarly priced fully coated rotor. This AC Delco Gold/ Raybestos Adanced Technology/ Specialty Truck rotor has a spec for maximum lateral runout of .002. The fully coated rotor has a maximum lateral runout spec of .004 which is .002 over what GM allows. Not sure how they can call those rotors as OE equivalent when they don't meet the specifications set by the manufacturer. I asked the Raybestos rep about that and he didn't have a good answer, but acknowledged what I was saying.Because the Raybestos Advanced Technology (Specialty Truck) rotors were out of stock on Amazon, I ended up buying the AC Delco Gold version of the same exact rotors. The biggest price difference was with the front rotors. I think they were close to $30 per rotor more expensive. The rear rotors wasn't that much difference. I think The AC Delco version was only like $5 per rotor more.Additionally, I recommend flushing your brake fluid if you haven't done it in a while. My research pointed me to the ATE TYP 200 DOT 4 brake fluid as being the best for just about any application other than racing. The brake job I did consisted of front and rear AC Declo Gold rotors, front and rear Akebono Performance pads which are GG friction rated and should be an upgrade over the FF rated OEM pads when it comes to stopping power, towing, and longevity of the pads. Additionally, I flushed the brakes with new ATE TYP 200 DOT 4 brake fluid, applied moly lube to abutment clips and caliper piston surfaces that meet with the pad. Additionally, I used Raybestos DBL-2T Brake Lube on the slide pins.Tip: Akebono recommends you use a moly lube for brake pad clips and the surface area where caliper piston meets with the pad. Honda HN 08798-9010 MOLY PASTE (M77) is what you want for that. Moly lube specific for brake parts is hard to find and extremely expensive, but this is what you want if you don't want to touch your breaks for another 100k miles or more.I hope my review was helpful and someone was able to benefit from my research and experience.

Great value, great fit and look nice on 2007 escalade, function perfect, breaking has good smoothness. They are painted, so they are rust resistant. They look very nice and I don't get any breaking noise.

I feel like "why risk my life and the lives of others to save a few dollars". But AC Delco. Brake with confidence.

Fit well 2008 Chevy Avalanche 4WD LC9 front. Shipped in individual ACDelco cardboard boxes (I bought two). The discs were wrapped in plastic with a generous amount of packing oil. I removed the oil with several wipe-downs with rubbing alcohol. A couple small gouges, maybe .003 deep on the outboard surface, assumed to be from handling after they were milled. Scratch pad seemed to repair those ok. The discs I received were flat enough. I did not put them on a lathe or turn-table to measure how flat. I just eyeballed them on a flat surface. No pulsing felt while driving. Took a few stops to get them mated with the new pads. Works well so far. About 2,000 miles in.

These rotors are an exact match to original rotors that came on my truck new. I had no problem installing at all, all the holes lined up perfectly. Very good quality and I would highly recommend these rotors. I installed them on my 2011 GMC Sierra 4x4 quad cab. I would definitely buy these again.

Nothing special just decent brake rotors. Remember to wash surface with brake cleaner to get rid of shipping oils.
