I purchased mine through Amazon warehouse. It is a exact replacement except....The receiver/insert where you apply your breaker bar was not a standard 3/8" to release the tension . I had to put it in a vice and then hammer in my breaker bar and then knock it out a couple of times before it would easily go in and out so I can release tension when installed. I have read that other people have had this issue but not sure if it for all replacements. Overall it was not a big deal but it did require extra work of taking it off and then expanding the receiver so I could use the breaker bar.

Perfect fit for 2002 Silverado Duramax. Only concern is the bearing size for this part compared to stock. The bearing in this part is about half the size of stock, which, makes me question the long term life. However, for the install, it fit perfect and was able to pull the right amount of tension. The truck was sold shortly after install, so I will not be able to comment on long term longevity.

The pulley bearings weren't the tightest. The 1/2" square hole you put your breaker bar in was too tight and reallydifficult to put in. I've used this breaker bar for 40 years and used it to remove the old one without a hitch. So I suggest testing your ratchet or bar on a new one and maybe taking a Moto tool to it before bolting it on. It's so tight in the engine compartment, you could easily break a finger if it slips while putting on the belt. My old tensioner, the pulley bearings just weren't as tight as the new one. I'm keeping it as a spare and it only needs a new pulley if the new replacement fails. I replaced belt, tensioner, and idler pulleys all at the same time. Unfortunately, I installed a New AC-Delco Altenator at the same time and it is defective. When I replace it, I'll open up the hole a little for my breaker bar so future belt replacements won't be such a pain.
