I wanted to make sure everything was new and fit correctly, this fit the bill perfectly. I changed styles of water pumps, so I had to change this as well. It is well built and uses the 2 bolt style instead of the 3 bolt style you get with a truck style tensioner.

Installed on my LS 5.3 swap wrangler project. I used the water pump from a 2013 Camero for clearance purposes and this tensioner fit it perfect. I also used some 3/4" spacers from ICT billet to make up the difference from the truck pulley drive and the Camero pulley drive. Again this tensioner worked great and lined everything back up the way it is supposed to fit.

I got a 02 Camaro z28 with a lm7 5.3 ls1 241 heads with 660 dual titanium valve springs with a btr stage 2 cam ls7 lifter etc etc etc well built motor I purchased this tensioner when I was rebuilding the motor and worked perfect for about a year and a half but after getting gas one morning right before I hopped in the freeway the tensioner snapped in half luckily I had another one on another project but if your car is stock this is perfect for you if your pushing some power I’d go with an aftermarket
