Perfect fit.when changing thermostat on a Acadia ,or any car the chances of breaking one is great.So Having to just replace the fiting is just nice,sometimes replacing the the complete hose can be hard to do due to your vehicle. It is pricey.

This item fits on Tahoe, Suburban,Yukon,Yukon XL, and Escalade with a rear heater core (rear heat). This item does not fit on Silverado or Sierra truck because they do not have rear heat. This item connects to the tee fitting by the firewall. The tee fitting does not exist on truck models. Dorman part # 800-409 will not fit on suv models listed but it will fit on truck models listed.

do yourself a favor if you have a cooling hose that is connected to your thermostat that fits this fitting, cut off the quick connect at the metal ring and remove it from the top thermostat house pipe and install this new fitting with a stainless steel hose clamp. no more leak. good luck

You can actually remove this connector without having to break it. Until its 20 years old anyways.

This part fit my 2004 Yukon XL Denali. Amazon and autozone both did not have the correct part listed. This part fit EXACTLY!!!. Do not get the Dorman part 800-403 if you have a 2004 Yukon XL Denali with the 6.0 engine and your outboard heater hose is broken off. I do not know about other models but I know Dorman part 800-403 will not fit my vehicle, the inside diameter is very slighter smaller on the dorman part and it will not slide onto the tee fitting. I was nervous when ordering not because of the cost but because I was going to have to wait 2 days and if it didnt fit I would still have to find the right part but the ACDelco 34000 fit perfectly. I hope this helps someone else that is trying to find the right part..

Desafortunadamente hice una pregunta al vendedor en razón a si correspondÃa al vehÃculo, una Chevrolet Traverse 2014, y me dijo que sÃ. No fue el caso, pues una vez que se insertó en la toma metálica del motor del vehÃculo, donde va esta pieza, cuando llega a donde tiene los anillos plásticos interiores.. ¡se reduce el tamaño!, imposibilitado su entrada. Lo comento para que sà alguien tiene el mismo problema en un vehÃculo similar, NO compre esta pieza, pues no va a servirle.
