I have large monitors so webcam placement is tricky. This flex arm clamps to my desktop and allows me to place the camera in a more natural position. The flex arm is stiff enough to stay put with the limited weight of the webcam, and the magnetic mount is a plus. The camera models are just a suggestion, as this mount will accommodate any webcam and other lightweight accessories as well. The magnet can be removed to use a 1/4-20 thread screw mount, and there's also a disk included to attach to a webcam if the base is not already magnetic. The ball head allows for forward facing or top down camera angles as well - or accommodating leveling the camera if the arm needs to approach at a funky angle. The clamp is strong enough to hold securely, and I like that the back of the clamp has gussets pressed in to stiffen it and keep it straight against the tightening of the clamp. Keep in mind that you need a square overhang about 1.5-2 inches deep on your desk or table to mount the clamp - it does not have a deep enough throat to go over any edge bracing so it won't work with some desks with shallow edges. This is a simple and sturdy flexible mounting solution for not much money. Recommended.

I've been using this mount for about two months now as apart of a kit I take to stream from remote locations outside my own home (ie: arcade). It's retained all of it's rigidity, so it's very good at holding form still. Mounting point works great, but I suggest something to put between the clamp arm and your surface unless you dont mind a bit of damage when removing it frequently. It would also be nice if it were easier to fold away, but it would lose that rigidity, and be less effective as a mount so I get it. I'd buy one again if I needed a replacement!

As a dedicated enthusiast of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 (MSFS2020), I've always been on the lookout for solutions to enhance my simulation experience. One particular challenge I faced was integrating an older webcam for an "Eye Beam" solution to accurately track head movements. Mounting it atop my 55" TV proved ineffective, failing to detect the precise movements I required. However, my search for a remedy led me to discover a game-changing solution: the AceTaken bracket. This bracket, initially intended for a different purpose, proved to be a versatile problem solver. With three 55" TVs in my setup, I decided to experiment by mounting the bracket to the back of my desk and positioning the webcam just above the bottom edge of the right screen. The sturdy construction and adjustable stem of the bracket allowed me to achieve optimal positioning, resulting in full control of head movements and eye tracking, even in dimly lit environments. What truly impressed me was the build quality of the mount. Its robust design instilled confidence, and I quickly realized it could support far more than just a webcam. Utilizing the magnet plate provided, I could easily adjust the webcam's position without compromising the mount's stability, ensuring seamless recalibration whenever necessary. In terms of value, the price point of this product is spot-on. Considering its versatility and performance, it's an investment worth making for any MSFS2020 enthusiast or anyone seeking a hassle-free solution for mounting small objects such as Go-Pros or webcams. In fact, I've already recommended this bracket to several of my flight sim buddies, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Its effectiveness transcends its intended purpose, making it a must-have accessory for any simulation setup. If you're searching for a reliable solution to mount your peripherals up and out of the way with minimal effort, look no further than this AceTaken bracket. As I embark on my next project of mounting handheld radios, I'm confident this bracket will once again prove its worth. Highly recommended!

The stand doesn't work with my desk, which has beveled edges. These edges do not provide the stability needed for the clamp.

This thing works great, is very sturdy, and will hold a lot of different items. It has a magnetic mount, or you could skip it with the right attachments. If clips onto the edge of anything, and holds on tight. Then you can bend it anywhere you need, to position your Device perfectly. Great product, great price, works exactly as intended. Highly recommended.

If you need to have an arm that moves around for your webcam this will do the job. I can use my webcam for video conferences and I can use it to do top down shots of products. It holds position well and was easy to install.

This attaches to the webcam via a magnetic mount and metal disc that you affix to the camera. Unfortunately, the adhesive is a bit weak on the disc, and my camera plopped off on its own. It's a bit disappointing that 3M and similar companies make excellent adhesives that are rock solid, but this company did not use one of the reliable ones.
