I set this against a table easel and use it for sketching and drawing. I have also laid a pressing mat on it and used it as a flat surface for ironing small craft projects. It’s versatile and the size accommodates my larger sketchbooks.

I bought this drawing board for a drawing college drawing class. I really like that it has clips for portrait and landscape use which makes it easy to work with. The board itself is very sturdy and of good quality! The only down side is the corner guards are not well secured. They seem to be lightly crimped onto the board and two fell off after a few uses of putting the board into my drawing board backpack. Fortunately I did not loose them so I was able to put them back on but it would have been really great if the corner guards had been glued and crimped on which would have resulted in a higher quality product.Still a great product!

The clamp on the long side only comes down on one edge which means the paper is not held in place, it hinges at the single point of contact. I'm going try to bend it so it makes contact at two points, but for now will be using tape.The board is nice and flat and sturdy. It will work well as a drawing board. The metal is probably pretty cheap and got bent during manufacture or shipment. I'm curious how QA is performed if at all. I would definitely check if each clamp functioned optimally.

Arrived in a box broken in half. Huge hassle to return at ups store. I didn’t have packing tape to seal the box so I had to pay $5. to have it sealed. Awful experience with this item. Should have been able to send a picture and throw in the garbage instead of wasting my time with returning. I do not recommend.

I chose the cheapest option, so might be my fault. When I opened the package, the corner was severely bent, making the surface not flat. I tried fixing it a few ways but in the end it’s still not flat. The clips and rest of the board work fine, but hard to look past the initial impression.

At $39.99, I expected much better. The board is very thin and flimsy, and it showed up with dents along the edges. While the idea of having a clip on the short side and long side of the board is good in theory, I'm not sure the quality is good enough to last very long. For those who want to save money and get a better deal, get a 23x26" Richeson board made of thicker, sturdier material with a carrying handle for less than half the price at Blick. Or simply buy a masonite panel and use your own bulldog clips that can be bought cheaply at any office supply store.

Good size, fits in backpack bag, but the corners. You have to mind them, else they hook onto things and start to pull away.
