I see a lot of complaints about fit and outdoor use of these ... I mean, these are slipper socks for indoor use! These are not shoes! If you want to walk outside in the snow, put on shoes or boots and then go outside ...I have two pair of these and they are great! I really like the real leather soles and foam insole, instead of the cheap plastic soles that are sold on most house shoes ... They were a little tight on my ankles when new, but they relaxed a bit and fit perfectly now.These are perfect for letting the TV watch you, sauntering, meandering, posing, consuming hot beverages, midnight strolls through the house, napping and all sorts of other indoor inactivity ...It has been a few years, and I must say, my Acorn's are still working strong. It is about 60 degrees inside, and I'm working in the garage on a cold concrete slab. The red stripes look especially special with my Adidas sweat pants.

These slippers are exactly what I hoped. The size runs a bit small. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe. I ordered the 8-9. It fits very nicely but I think I would order up if someone wears a size 9 shoe.The sole feels good and does not slip on our floor. The sox portion fits well. The sock is warm and stays in place. I ordered the red. It is brick red and perfect. I am pleased with this purchase.

So these are great. Acorn is a notable brand but they are made in China, not Maine, to be clear. These are super comfortable and the pair I received were well-stitched and sizing was symmetrical for both socks (some reviews note that theirs seemed irregular or poorly made.) They are meant to go up mid calf, which they can, but as a female with normal legs ordering the L (for women’s size 11-12) these were definitely pretty tight up the leg, plenty of room and width in foot area. So on a man with normal to thicker legs, I would assume these would too tight to even put your foot in. I just cuff them and they’re fine for me, but it’s worth noting. Also I was worried that the suede bottoms may not be skid-resistant enough for my all hardwood flooring but it totally is.

I've had these slippers socks in the past, but never have I gotten a pair of more ill fitting than this pair. The toes are square and the heel on the right one is so narrow my foot is off to the right. It must be sewn together cockeyed. They are sending a replacement pair. I'll be able to tell by just looking at them if they are no good. I'm not overly confident they be any better. Update; the second pair were just as bad as the first. I returned those too.

Acorns are extremely comfortable and useful because you are able to step outside as well as staying warm inside. Wish I could wear them everywhere.

I got size 8-9 and there is like .5-1 inch extra. The leather part caves in and my foot slids around. Too big. I like the padding in the sole. The sock cuff wont go up my calf cause its not wide enough so i have to fold it down. Its just all around loose. The sole part is good quality leather from what i can tell without wearing for months. I will be returning these unfortunately. Also they stink like chemicals when close to face.

These socks are great and I have no problems with them so far… I will warn the first time you get them the sock part will be tight (don’t say not after the first try). And you should always wear socks with them they slip around to much without and that’s what makes them uncomfortable. I normally do wear socks with my slippers anyways so it wasn’t a problem I just tried it out without just to see what it was like. Other than those little things that is solvable great product! Stays warm so far that all I need. And would only use for inside use only

hmmm.....what to say about these slippers....i really want to like them more than i do. they are warm and comfortable....IF you can get them on your feet....and thats a big if.i dont know who was in charge of the sizing for these things, but its a mess. i wear a size 10.5 to 11.5 depending on the shoe....and its almost always an 11.5. so i ordered the XL ragg wool ones...which say they fit that exact size range. was it the right size to get? yes????i mean for 11.5 being what i normally wear and the upper limit of the size...these slippers are about 2 inches too long. since these are slippers though i dont really mind...its a little weird feeling, but i get used to it quickly. the real problem is the upper part. its way way WAAAAY too narrow, and being wool...it does not stretch...at all. see the image they have? the slippers do NOT look anything like that...that looks nice and roomy and comfy....nope. its a 5 minute struggle to try to pull these things onto your feet as the sock part is just beyond too small. and dont get me wrong...im not a big guy, i dont have particularly large ankles and calves. even if i did it wouldnt matter because i cant even get my foot into the narrow sock part without lying on the bed and contorting my body to try to yank them up....like trying to zip and close pants that are 3 sizes too small.once theyre on...its all good again, like i said, they are comfy and warm. theres no way i could pull the sock part up over my calves, but i wouldnt wear them like that anyway, id wear them just at the tops of my ankles...but theres no reason they should be so difficult to put on in the first place....especially not at this price point. these are expensive for slippers...and the fact that they are so poorly (and strangely) sized makes it so i cant recommend them.its too bad....because as ive said a couple times now...they are pretty nice once theyre on.pros - warm soft suede bottom is nicecons - oddly long far too narrow sock part pricey

Love these slippers they worked very well for me in winter, very and the inner sole is very soft to walk on plus I can put my slippers on the couch just like having socks on!!

We love these slipper socks (have a pair a few years old) but have ordered medium (size 8) sized socks twice, and twice have been sent a size 5-6. It's too bad, we were looking forward to them

I love everything About these slippers. They were a bit difficult to get off and on the first time but adjusted perfectly after that. They are warm without making my feet too warm and I love the way they look. I would highly recommend them.
