This part did not exactly fit my starter, but I’m still giving five stars because I was able to make it fit and while I was looking at videos on the rebuild, I found a reference to the correct Honda part and found that this was NOT the correct part number for my 2015 Accord.But as I said, I was able to make the part work. Another review had stated the corners where the electrical connection comes through the case are not the same and had to be shaved down to work. But after doing that, I was able to put everything together and the car started right up.My car had about 125-130K miles on it when the starter became intermittent. The OEM contact disk is not as big as this new one and the stationary contact had nearly been eaten away due to arcing during the starter’s life. I feel confident this larger solenoid contact will last at least that long. I got almost 300K out of my last Accord, but I don’t know if I’ll keep this one quite that long to know for sure.

Great product worked like a charm on honda mitsuba starter. Rebuilt my starter with this product after reading reviews and it didn't disappoint. Worked on my 05 honda crv.

Perfect fit for my 2007 Accord VP Automatic. The quality looks just as good as the OEM part I took out. Very easy to install. It probably took me 20 minutes after watching a YouTube video.

I circled the area of part that did not match the original, causing poor engagement with the solenoid and preventing the outer armature housing to fail to fully fit into the Bendix housing. The rubber boot was also a poor fit for my starter. I circled the area of the brush assembly (photo bottom) that did not allow a fit into the starter Bendix housing. The original brush assembly (photo top) is smaller and a different geometry.The rubber boot was a poor fit for my starter (photo right) compared to the original boot.

Lo compre para reparar mi motor de arranque la verdad funciono bien dos semanas y después quedo igual no prende no funciona no perdà si no mi tiempo y mi dinero ....pero si lo que nesecitas es una reparación provincial mientras consigues la pieza completa te puede alludar este producto por eso mi reseña y mi calificación...

Installed and starter sounds like newx top connector was a bit different on my 2007 Honda coupe , had to modify a bit but snugged write up.

Bought this to try to rebuild the original starter on a 2008 Civic because the replacement starter seized after 3 days. With a minor adjustment to the positive terminal everything went together well and it has been working on the car for 4 days now.
