I bought these as I needed something to hold up the cookbooks and misc. booklets in my kitchen near the stove. They are light weight, but are very sturdy. Tall enough so that nothing falls or tips. They are nothing fancy as they are just a clear acrylic bookend. However, they look very nice and are doing exactly what I need them to do!!! I am very pleased with them and I think you will be too!!!

Yes these book ends are just great, as mentioned strong and durable and fits nicely anywhere and being plastic and transparent blends in almost invisible, I recommend this product for anything from books to DVDsVery good product.

Unbelievably flimsy - bends/breaks incredibly easily. Maybe it would work for books that generally stand on their own, but it's too cheap a product to actually hold something up.
