This is a really nice, heavy duty acrylic cover. We got it for when we are baking, and things are still needing to cool off, but we need to keep the darn cat from poking his nose into our food. Or really for anything on the counters that we need to keep our curious cat off of. This has been the perfect thing for us! The cover is nice and big, and will cover a 9x13 pan easily, and will cover most of my cookie sheets and cooling racks. The acrylic is smooth and clear, and the edges are not sharp. You can see perfectly what is inside, without having to open it up. This would also work well for buffet tables or outdoor food that you want to keep the bugs off of. Anyway, you get the idea that you can use this for many different purposes, so I think it is a good value. We are very impressed and happy with this versatile cover!

I never dreamed it was just a cover with no tray. I bought it to enter an oblong cake in a contest but I will have to keep shopping.

This acrylic cake cover is nicely made and looks good. The acrylic is 1/4" thick making is sturdy but not heavy. It measures true to size in the product description. It fits well inside the rim of a 1/2 sheet pan, and easily fits over a 9" x 13" cake/roasting pan. You could also use it over a couple of plates directly on the counter or table. I would recommend this product to friends and family.

This arrived in a heavy cardboard box, which I decided to keep it in, when not in use. The box it labeled, so it's easy to spot in the storage closet. It arrived perfect.This is a very generous size. I'll be able to cover many different pans, boards and plates. We have a lot of gatherings outside and I do not like having to guard the food from flies. Not just keeping the bugs off, it'll keep things from getting dried out.This seems to be well made and it is thick enough. I don't feel like it'll break just looking at it. I'll be able to trust guests to lift it without concerns.Super pleased to have this size and shape to help our gatherings go much smoother. It's not only larger, it's also higher than most domes. (see photos) This is a good one!

First off, I DO like this lid. It’s functionality can serve in many capacities & its large size can be used to cover many things, on various surfaces. I think other reviewers have made valid points, so I won’t repeat them.I confess that EVERY TIME I’m at a picnic/potluck (& I go to many!), I wish people would invest in a cover to keep air & flying pests out & off their culinary masterpieces.😉 Foil & mounds of cling film seem to be the most inexpensive option, but u can’t see thru them & it’s a hassle to keep putting u’re plate down on limited space to unwrap & re-wrap serving dishes. I always think there’s got to be a nicer way to display, protect & have easy access to the dishes. I believe this just might be it! I definitely will be happy & proud to be the first one to the next outside event, Yay!🥳Now, the explanation for my rating:I don’t really think the cost of this lid ($30) is value for money. Tho it looks great, & I’m very glad to have it, it is, after all, a plastic lid. (-âï¸)Next, it’s ONLY the lid! There’s no tray (even a plastic one) that’s included, so I kinda think that’s sort of a bummer. (-âï¸)So there’s where I’m conflicted. I wish more people were able buy this for the quality & the use it furnishes, but I understand that the higher cost keeps the average consumer endlessly stocking the tin foil & cling film instead (including ME!).It’s a shame too, because now that I think of it, this lid idea is a really sustainable & ecological solution to single use plastic products that are constantly being discarded by the tons after the event winds down.(Sigh. I’ll get off my soap box now & end my review🙄)
