I live in an apartment in my neighbors smoke both cigarettes and weed like they're going out of style. The smell kept creeping into my house through the vents and they are purifier I tried to only do so much. I bought these as a sort of hail Mary and can't believe how well they've actually worked! Would definitely recommend if you're in a similar situation.

I like that these charcoal bags come well packaged and easy to use with their own little hanger. My kitchen severely lacks ventilation, so cooking usually leaves a scent for a while, even with the range set to ventilate. I honestly couldn't tell the difference when I hung two of these in my kitchen, but it's possible that there is too much open space. However, when I placed one of these in my fridge, all noticeable odor was gone within a day. I am familiar with charcoal odor removers, since my compost bin uses a charcoal filter and it absolutely stops any smells from exiting the bin. My recommendation is to use these charcoal bags in smaller spaces or enclosed areas for the full effectiveness. Otherwise, it may require quite a few of these to work in large living areas (especially if you are trying to reduce pet odors).

These are a must-have for acupuncturist who use moxibustion or anyone that does herbal burning!! I have a rather cozy treatment room at my clinic with no windows. Even though I have an air purifier with a HEPA smoke-removal filter, by the end of my workday, my treatment room will smell like a campfire that lingers into the next day. Very unwelcoming for my next patients. These can be easily and inconspicuously placed under or behind furniture or other objects. By the end of a long work day of burning moxa or sage, you can’t even tell anything was burned at all. Great product!

They do in fact deodorize and are better for musky and smoke odors. For pets, if the source isn't removed the effect is only ever going to be temporary. Knowing this, they're worth a shot.
