I am a puppeteer and needed a simple and portable way to work my lights from where I play. I finally settle for this product and I am very happy. It can still do more, so that in the future, if I want to add more lights I will be able to. But for now, I can have it behind my working table and do my simple effects. I can fade, dim, turn to black, and change between lights. simple, and easy to understand.

I love this unit. Very simple to use, good quality fadders. I mix audio and don't have time to wiggle with the lights. This thing makes my life so much easier. If you don't have moving head / intelligent lights on your setup but only fixed lights for which you just need to fade in / out and switch colors, this is the perfect tool.

I've purchased many ADJ products in the past 4 years, but this dimmer panel is JUNK! It didn't even last 2 weeks before it just quit working. Very poor quality...and...NO! I would never buy this again, and neither should you!!It's going back to Amazon, and I would suggest that they don't sell this panel anymore.

If you need simple controls for a lighting rig, this is the foolproof way to do it. Wire up all your lights like a single DMX light, and this will control all of them like they're one light. No you won't be doing different programs, but if you needed a simple way to control a bank of lights together, this is it. We used this with a bank of 8 SHEHDS lights.

I have used this product before and the product itself is fine.The unit I ordered was an amazon recertified as I figured I'd be green and save the world a little more trash. Amazon however did not test this properly, likely because whoever was testing it just turned it on and never connected any DMX fixtures. I should note that of the 3 units I have had I have had failures to the DMX chips due to power surges although was able to replace the chips with some minimal soldering skills. I'd consider buying again but would likely search out other products first.

I'm using this for a few spotlights powered by DMX dimmer packs. I needed something simple that is just plug & play and offers a few quick faders for DMX control. This is compact, lightweight, and easy to use. The battery option is a plus, although it doesn't seem to last very long.One major con is that this dimmer pack loses all it's level settings when power is lost / turned off. This is not too big of a deal for my purposes, but it seems like it would be pretty simple to add some sort of nvram to retain channel levels when power is lost. Most DMX dimmer packs retain their levels when the DMX signal is lost (and retain channel assignments when power is lost).Since the sliders/faders aren't motorized, if an untrained operator doesn't know that this happens with this dimmer, they may believe there is an issue with the fixtures not an issue with controller. As a result we just keep this powered on 24/7 and use the master fader to control our lights.

simple but reliable and portable no-frills dmx lighting controller (3 pin OR 5 pin) for small manual applications. works with power adapter OR a 9-volt battery! DMX starting point can be reassigned via dip switches. I use it in a rehearsal studio with a modest lighting rig - simple enough for non-techies to use. love it.

It seems to work very well, and I have found it handy for testing lights. I like the battery option, though it is a bit bigger than I expected. HOWEVER, it should be noted that this really a 2 x 6 channel controller. There is no memory, and what you set on one bank does not hold when you switch to the second bank.
