This was a donation to go along with a donation of gloves. Young children, infants and toddles, cannot keep their gloves and coats together when wearing them. These help considerably. There was not a piece of elastic between the two clips when I used them for my children. This is a major improvement because the gloves and mittens cannot be dropped on the ground when a hand gets pulled out. Needless to say, I did not have that creative thought as I ended up with many single mittens and gloves.

These ZHENCHY Mitten Clips brought back fun memories of my childhood when all my friends had them playing in the snow! I received a package of 5 sets in different colors, making it easy to match a child's clothing. The elastic band between the clips is approximately 1" wide and 3" long. It is strong and does not stretch very much, but it provides enough room for a child to put on and take off mittens without unclipping them. The clips are made of slightly textured stainless steel with plastic teeth. They grip tightly. A child is not likely to accidentally lose a mitten or glove if it is clipped on to a coat sleeve. It really takes effort to pull a glove out of these clips. These could also be used to clip a scarf or knit hat to the neckline of a jacket. Although advertised as adjustable, showing a picture of plastic buckles, there is nothing adjustable about this set of clips. They are simply two metal clips attached to each end of a strong elastic band. There is no additional plastic buckle attached for adjustment. However, the clips definitely work as expected, are strong and durable, and a set of 5 pair is a good value for the low price.

I've had a few kids, and this kit would have been huge many years ago. Kids naturally do things like lose mittens, so an elastic band with a few clips is great. And a multi-pack, so that you have spares? At $15 this is a bargain. I love having them; it's one less thing to worry about next winter.

plastic lining inside the clip parts are very good to prevent damage to clothing. They are a bit bulky but they are very useful
