Difficult to close off completely. I wear an external urinary catheter and needed something to close off tubing to prevent leaking.

I'm fairly new to home wine-making.The first few times I bottled wine, I had a really hard time getting the same amount in each bottle. After a little research, I found these little clamps. They work perfectly. They allow you to easily adjust the flow rate, making it possible to fill each bottle to the exact same level. Then, when you close it completely, it holds your siphon so that you don't lose pressure or spill any wine between bottles.Mine is used on 3/8" clear tubing. I don't think you'd want to use a tube diameter any bigger than that with this particular size clamp, but it could work for a smaller diameter tube.

I used this on a gravity water fill system for golf cart batteries. It worked great for a year then broke. I guess it is good there are several in an order you will need them. There was also a break in one of the back flex arms.

These don't have variable control. Only on or off. That's it.
