I have an old violin that was made in 1903. The case was made some time later, but it was rather old too. I decided that I would purchase a new case for it. I did. I chose this one, as it appeared to be reasonably priced and looked like it would protect my violin much better than the old case. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the case. The violin fits very tight in the case, but I suspect that will change over time taking the violin in and out of the case.

This case works perfectly for my 10 year old. It has backpack straps that allow him to wear it as a backpack, and it is very lightweight. Or you can use the D rings near the handle to attach straps to sling violin over your shoulder. The case is strong enough to protect the violin, and has a small compartment inside to hold rosin. Thought it was a great value. Love the case!

This violin case is very nice for the price. Everything has a place and fits nicely in the case. The pocket for holding books is good but quite tight to fit a normal size music lesson book in it. You have to be careful so you don't zip the pages into the zipper. Overall we really like this case, it's very light-weight and well made.

My stupid dog peed on my previous cloth semi-hard cover violin case, so I've long been needing to replace it. I finally ordered this product, and so far am very pleased with it. It's super light weight, at least half the weight of my previous case which is near-identical to this one (just rectangular).The velvet lining is very soft and protective for the violin and bows. There is room for 2 bows in the top, and room for rosin above the violin scroll. The outside of the case has a zipper to put music, chin rests, extra strings, etc. It comes with straps to allow for backpack-style carrying, or just over-the-shoulder carrying. Overall I'm quite pleased!

I have a standard 4/4 size violin and this did not fit at all. The cutouts were wrong and my violin was just sitting on top. I will go to my local music store to purchase one instead

This case is lightweight and does the job. The violin is secure and protected. The covering is adequate, but I don’t expect it to last as long as a premium case, but what the heck, it was so cheap so I’m giving it a good rating for value.
