I have a collection of Aerogardens (so sad to see them gone). They could not tolerate water leaking in their bases, so I bought this to prevent any damage. Not only does it work for the Aerogardens, now I use it to water all of my indoor plants. It holds a lot of water so I don't need too many returns to the sink to get the job done. Despite its size, the placement of the handle makes it easy to carry and easy to pour. Most important, it directs water just where I want it go and it goes not leak!I have had this for several years and it shows no signs of wear, but recently I purchased a second one... just in case. I like it that much!

I really hesitated to order this - $20 for a watering jug when I already have others but someone on a forum said this exceeded her expectations and she was 100% right. It's perfectly balanced, you never spill a drop outside of the opening (which is really imp't because those few spills on a consistent basis causes the nutrients to develop this crusty layer which looks dirty AND can only be removed w/citric acid) and you can easily mix nutrients in w/the water if you'd like and give it a nice shake. The plastic is sturdy. Is it overpriced for a piece of plastic - 100% - is there an alternative - NO so I will gladly pay another $20 if something happens to this one. I would like an extra one as I have units in two rooms but I think I'm going to wait for a sale (if this ever happens).

This is a solid bottle made of the same material as it's larger 5 gallon cousins. Very sturdy and stable. The neck is big enough to fill easily. Once the spout is screwed on there is minimal leaking. The spout is long enough to get to the filling hole without spilling everywhere. Overall well worth the money.

Love my new watering can. Easy to fill and doesn’t spill. I was worried it would be blue like the picture, but it’s not.

I bought two of these to make fertilizing my garden more easily. They are perfect for the job. Sturdy and easy to carry with a built in handle and great pouring spout!

I have an Aerograden 12XL, and this is just perfect for filling that sizable tank and go around watering all my plants. I've used it outside, and have three of these all in easy to access locations. These are just great to use. They can get a little heavy, so if that's too much weight, fill it up a little less.

PRO:It's a 1-gallon jug. It's good at being one gallon, and it's good at being a jug.The spout works well. It lets air bubbles in so the pressure doesn't cause excessive glugging at normal watering speeds. The spout is easy to remove for larger scale watering, like filling a bucket.I wouldn't say "no-spill", but I would agree with "very few, and small, spills".CON:No visible water level lines, so you don't know where one gallon actually is. I poured a gallon of water into it and marked the line with permanent marker. I have to reapply that marker every few months, but it gets the job done. One gallon is at the bottom of the neck, roughly at the level where the sides are at a 45 degree angle.I don't use this jug to water my AeroGarden. I just use my Brita for that. I use this jug to mix a nutrient solution for my "other" hydroponics. It does that job well, except it causes the inside to get dirty and might possibly be growing some algae. I can even live with that; but it's extremely difficult to clean the inside of the jug, especially at the "top" right below the neck. You need a scrubbing implement with an angled neck that can reach it.If you plan to use this just for water, then you can likely ignore the cleaning problem. These are cheap enough I can just throw it away and buy another one once or twice a year. And you're supposed to put liquid nutrients into the aerogarden separately, so they probably didn't plan on this scenario. So I can't really hold this one against them.I dinged them two stars in "Ease of Use" for the lack of a water level marker, which again, doesn't matter if you aren't mixing nutrients. I dinged them two stars in "Value for money" because my time is not worthless, and I have to invest time in cleaning it. But I rated it overall 4 stars because it's still a great jug for NORMAL usage, and my personal inconveniences shouldn't reflect badly on the product that was not designed for my personally inconvenient lifestyle :)

I love these jugs. You can easily mix up your nutrients, and replace water in your hydroponic systems. I love that I don't spill water everywhere, the handle on the jug helps with this. I've bought several since I know aerogarden is going out of business.

This jug is just a little bigger than a 4L jug of milk. This fills the Aerogarden Bounty Basic basin. When I first got it, the spout which is slightly angled was not aligned. It turns out the thin part of the spout can be twisted so it orients the way you want. Works much better when you orient it.

I think I’ve bought four of these now. I really love them! I have a lot of plants and I can do almost all of them with one jug. Best no spill jug ever.

Thanks to everyone who gave me product reviews. This jug is very easy to use. It is surprisingly light and stores a lot of water. I have arthritis in my hands and it is comfortable to carry. With my double balcony, it only takes 2 jugs to water all my plants. Thanks, Judy

I love this so much that I bought a second! Then I bought a third! It’s perfect for refilling my hydroponics system, but it’s also great for watering all of my house plants and vegetable seedlings because it’s more accurate for both top and bottom watering. I hated watering my hanging baskets/ plants because I always made such a mess. I don’t spill water anymore! Perfect size - not too heavy when full!
