Somehow I lost my original filter while cleaning my AeroGarden Harvest. I was tempted to buy a third party one, but since I'm eating these herbs and vegetables I thought it would be better to buy official filters. You never know what toxins or weird stuff could be in non-official products. This is a perfect fit and it includes 10 filters in the box, so now I have more than I could ever dream of needing.

My AeroGarden filter got pretty gnarly after a couple of plantings, as I had some runaway basil that absolutely destroyed the rest of the crops and grew a very impressive root system that I couldn't quite clear out of the filter. So I bought some replacement filters for a few bucks. They work perfectly and are the right size.Also, never grow super fast and invasive things like Basil next to more delicate things that need more time and nutrients to grow. Your aggro plants will completely devour all the nutrients. Lessons learned. :)

I was surprised to find replacements which work perfectly.. The Aerogarden instructions say to pull the roots out of the sponge and reuse it. Sometimes there are so many roots it is impossible to even see the sponge. I am much happier starting ovre with a clean sponge and will continue to buy replacements instead of tediously pulling roots from a used sponge which was no fun at all

I have a three-plant small Aerogarden unit. These filters are the correct style of foam for the unit, but they are too big and need to be trimmed down. Unfortunately, this leads to waste since the trimmings are too small to be used.
