Once I plugged this in, I was able to get a stable reading on my fuel pressure gauge and adjust! My fuel pressure gauge was gyrating between 6 and over 7 with a powerful mechanical fuel pump until I added this thing. Now my pressure is 5.5 which does well with my Edelbrock and the car is happy.

A fuel regulator is just part of the fuel system. I'm building one from scratch and buying the pieces as I can afford them. Everything I have purchased from Aeromotive in the past has been fantastic, so I'm sure this regulator will be too. If not I will update my review.

Nothing but likes this product. This deadhead regulator solved the issue of a way-too-powerful Edelbrock fuel pump on a 1979 F100 460. I was getting 8.5 lbs of pressure to my new Holley 600, when I only needed 6. It dials in smooth as silk. And it even improved the engine idle. The AN-6 orb fittings are way simpler to install than NPT fittings; just tighten them until they stop. The bottom port is fuel-in from the pump, and there are two ports for the fuel-out up top. A plug is needed to block of the port you won't be using. Definitely will be buying more of these soon. In the pic, I'm using magnets on the steel bracket to hold it to the inner fender so I can determine placement. The body of the regulator is milled aluminum and the internal components appear to be stainless steel. It's a hefty unit and the quality really shows.

Had a Holley dead end regulator for my 468 bbc. Wouldn’t hold pressure properly. Switched to the aeromotive dead end regulator for up to 750 hp…works like a charm!
