Why is there an increase in fuel consumption when using this device?
When in V4 mode, oil splashes onto engine components, over-lubricating valve seals, and entering the PCV system. Using the AFM Disabler to stay in full cylinder mode longer reduces oil splashes, prevents valve guide and PCV issues, and helps burn off deposits. Long-term use can lower fuel consumption and protect lifters. However, oil consumption may initially increase based on driving style and conditions

I use this in a 2016 Camaro 2SS and it works amazing. Completely blocks the AMF cycling to 4 cylinder mode. I was skeptical for such a low cost item. But it works flawlessly!!!!!!

Added this to my 2018 GMC with the 5.3 and it works perfectly. Over 800 miles on and it hasn't gone into V4 mode once. Just plug it into the OBDII port and go. 10 seconds to install. Great value!

Plug it in and go . This really works great . I just got it , plugged it in and went driving. It stayed in V8 mode the whole time , no issues whatsoever ever . This seems to work just as well or better than ones that cost a lot more. I tried all different kinds of driving techniques to see if it would kick into 4cyl mode. It never did. It also seems to turn off when you turn off your vehicle, save your battery.. It recommends taking it off if you won’t drive for a week or more. I would definitely recommend this product. Keep that truck in V8 mode like it’s supposed to be … Great product !

I installed this on my 2018 chevy tahoe and it works as advertised this also gives me more mpg. I dont plan on taking it off it does a really good job!

I actually tried another brand before this and the Ange is the way to go. Does exactly what it says it does and works flawlessly. It does turn off while you are stopped but the moment your foot presses the gas it clicks on and you'll never run in 4V. Haven't noticed any difference in fuel mileage but I do know that the jolting stopped immediately. The gears run much snoother

This works on my 2022 camaro AFM started to annoy me why have this feature on a V8 I don't understand it. It says it doesn't drain your battery I did see the light go off when the car was off anyway I did buy the switch for this just in case right here on Amazon. I plugged it in and wella no more switching to V4 drove it around for a bit and it stayed in V8 mode. I didn't get get great gas mileage with it switching to V4 mode so I am not sure if it will get worse or better. I really don't care as long as I always have my power and I here it will protect your lifters definitely purchase this works as good as the Range AFM disabler but much cheaper..
