I've never had any issues getting my truck inspected until I bought this item and plugged it in. Of course you have to unplug it to access the port for annual inspection. Now my truck has all sorts of monitors and a check engine light on that never happened before. The device disabled active fuel management but have fun getting your vehicle inspected.

I have a 2008 Silverado 5.3. It had 4 stuck lifters. I replaced them all and bought this for under $35.I always stay in V8 mode, no check engine lights and my truck runs good again, and I don't have to worry about the DOD/AFM collapsing my lifters again. Works great for the money.
