PERFORMANCE
The AFP Internal Shock Absorbing Lanyards are comprised of heavy-duty webbing, designed to diminish the risks of falling or slipping. The tough webbing is highly resistant to abrasion, aging, and won’t soften from frequent use. This webbing has low shrink properties and a high-temperature threshold. Constructed to scale down the impact forces resulting from fall, this Shock Absorbing Lanyard assists workers in effectively moving and position themselves on the job site. The shock absorber is built within the lanyard, making this a lightweight 2-in-1 feature that eliminates the need for a bulky shock pack. This shock-absorbing lanyard does not extend pass 6 FT unless impacted by the force of fall and must be used in conjunction with a full-body harness. Built tough, to limit fall forces up to 900 lbs. or less. Forged steel connectors are corrosion resistant and have a 3,600 lb. gate strength.

I utilized this harness when I painted the exterior of our 2 story house. Once I adjusted the fit, I was able to easily put on & take off. It appears very sturdy and was comfortable to wear for a 6', 230 pound person. It is also a vibrant green, so if I had fallen & was hanging, even if I'd forgotten to put my phone in my pocket, or couldn't reach it, someone would see me hanging there & help/get help.

Perfect harness, great for bigger people as well as smaller people. We’ve purchased a couple of these and we have people ranging from 5’8†to 6’6†no complaints from the guys in this harness.

I tried it on and it is well made and good quality material. I haven’t tested it in a fall off my flat roof on the back of my house where I’m always trying to fix a leak and hope I never have to test it in a fall but I do feel it would support me if I did. I’d recommend it.
