We were looking to extend our outdoor swing set. This Middle Bracket was exactly what we needed in order to do that. It was easy to assemble into our preexisting swing set. Worked exactly as expected.

Almost all the bolts either broke off in the wood or bent. Very cheap quality.

These brackets are pretty nice. They are made from steel and feel much stronger than similar aluminum versions commonly available. The green finish looks good at first, but scratches fairly easily. It is probably a good idea to go over the whole bracket with at least one additional clear coat. The included lag screws are cheap and not worth using. One broke the first time I put an impact on it. Throw the lag screws away and get some better ones. Not worth the risk of having unreliable fasteners in a swing set.

...as long as there are no scratches or chips from installation, and there's a soft degradation-resistant layer between the socket-base and the underlying surface to which the socket is bolted, to prevent that underlying surface from damaging the bottom paint.I do wish the sockets came with a template to make it easier to lay out the complex 2-axis angle for cutting the 4x4 legs to fit all the way into the sockets.

Build quality:The frame is well made -- of thick metal with a well done painted textured finish that matches the green shade of my A-frame brackets. All surfaces are painted completely. The foot sits level on the ground.InstallationThe brackets include hardware to both mount the feet to the 4x4 legs and to mount the legs to concrete or a wood deck.Final thoughtsThese are good quality swing set feet that I recommend.
