This galaxy projector looks like a ufo. Very cool galaxy projection and you can change the “star†output to make them come in and out of the ‘sky’. My kids absolutely love it. Will be buying two more for each kids room!!

I recently got this galaxy projector night light for my five year old daughter. I couldn't wait to try it out and as you can see from the second picture even with daylight this thing is very bright but of course it looks best when the room is pitch black. It looks cool in the pictures I took but in person it's even more vibrant and I love how the lights swirl like a black hole. You can change the color on the "black hole" setting, but you can also turn the black hole off and just have the stars. There's also a setting called "mist" that doesn't resemble mist whatsoever but still looks really cool. That setting is in my pictures. What I really like about this thing is that it comes with a very high quality remote. Its a sturdy remote that is of a decent size so I won't lose it and won't break it if it accidentally gets stepped on which can be an issue when you have kids. Overall I am very happy with this product. It exceeded my expectations for sure and I would definitely recommend it!

For context, I used effect lights professionally that these plastic toys cannot compete with. That said, I have minimum expectations that any light needs to meet and this one does a fairly good job for its price point. What I like ~• LASER is clearly marked. Even marked on unit exactly where the laser is emitted from.• Lots of control ~ effect, brightness, speed, timer• The box it comes in makes an effort to say 'I bring the universe' ~ better gift presentation than other brands.• Remote looks like it could have come with a name brand TV (though the weight isn't there)• The spiral effect is pretty good.• This device does not offer Bluetooth and thanks to that, it never announces "BLUETOOTH ON!" like many of the competitor products. What I do not like ~• I am told there are exceptions but most spiral galaxies have arms that trail the direction of rotation. At least for the one I have, the spiral appears to rotate backwards. I get bothered by the stupidest details, sorry.• LASERs should always be above eye level but doing so diminishes the effect of the spiral since the projector is then too close to the ceiling. My solution was to place the projector on a table and then stand books between the occupants and the LASER source.• The clear plastic dome isn't perfect, it has what appears to be a smudge of glue and little bits of manufacturing grit underneath that are visible when looking at the device or when staring at the light effect for a while.• Why would the instructions say this device is FDA approved? (see pic) I wish that the instructions explained this because I can't help wonder if the FDA logo wasn't earned and if that logo wasn't earned, were the others?• "Breathing effect" isn't rendering well. It is barely perceptible, even in a pitch black room.• (2) AAA batteries not included.

I had to return the first one because there was debris visible on the lens which spoiled the display. The second one also has its issues. So I'm dubious about what kind of quality control this unit goes through after manufacture. The swirling projection is really awesome and the colors are eye-filling and dazzling, but there are visible lines from the lens (fingerprints, scratches, warping?) that show through and really lessen the impressiveness of the effect. The green star field does have the benefit of 3 levels of brightness, and you can choose to have it be fixed or in fade mode. The remote in large and easy to use. It takes 2 AAA batteries, which you supply yourself.I like it- but it needs work!

I am so in love with this light! I have been collecting different fun/rainbow lights for the house and this is by far my favorite. Really love the tiny green laser stars that cover my livingroom and the color swirls are even more gorgeous in person.

The box contained 1 FRV galaxy light projector, a power cable, remote and instructions. I could not wait to plug this in, so I did not read the instructions! It projects in very vivid colors swirls like a galaxy (while it is spinning slowly) in all kinds of colors with stars that fade in and out. The ceiling that this projected upon was 18F x 15F and the light show covered most of it and was cool. When I turned it on the kids immediately stopped what they were doing to check it out. It does state do not look into the projector. Kids don't listen so it was a challenge to keep them from trying to find out where this cool light show was coming from. Did I mention this was cool? I am very satisfied with this product.

I use this at naptime in my pre-k classroom. It is very soothing and kids love it. The adjustable light features allow you to customize the output. Distributes enough lighting features to illuminate the ceiling in my 20 x 20 classroom. Simple to use and the included remote works effortlessly.
