If you looking for the best fold away saw you can get. You've found it! I have taken the saw on lots of camping trips and never had any issues. The folding design is super easy to use, and it it built out of quality materials. It's a great value

This saw is lightweight and after hiking 10-20 miles, it makes processing firewood at the end of a long day much easier.

I bought this axe for a survival/bushcraft week that I host every year, almost specifically because of the hype in the community over it. I was pleasantly surprised with the leather sheath that came with it, but I was disappointed that after only a week of use, albeit constant, red oak, wood-processing, the blade that came installed, had dulled. Fortunately it didn't hinder me, this comes with a backup blade, but I was still disappointed. That's my experience, do with it what you will.

Well constructed folding saw. Compact and fits snuggly in the also nicely made leather sheath. The blade is drawn tight when deployed and locked in place. The blade is tight enough to resist twisting when sawing. The blade is sharp as can be, as I expected. Makes short order of gathered wood for the campfire. I would certainly recommend this bow saw for your camping kit or just carrying it in your truck toolbox.

Received the saw and can't wait to try it out. Saw this on some bushcraft site and had to have it after doing further research. The saw is well made and very light but sturdy.

If there’s a better folding saw out there I haven’t seen it. Very robust and the 24†blades are available anywhere. Very easy to put together and the design of it allows you to use both hands effectively to push down and push and pull front to back making it a very efficient cutting tool. More robust than a “normal†Swede saw but also compact and easy to pack. It’s not lighter than a regular Swede saw though so probably not a back packer saw if you’re counting ounces.

I purchased the Boreal 24 backwoods kit. This is one of the best pack saw I have used to date. the saw is incredibly sturdy , lightweight, durable and fit nicely on or in a backpack , the aggressive (Sydney Ranch) blade cuts wood in half the time of a normal blade , lot of frame clearance to cut larger logs or dead standing timber . The leather case is high quality and the saw and extra blade fit tightly making it silent when carried on the outside of the pack. As a avid outdoorsman I have high qualifications for the equipment I use and this saw exceeds those standards. This saw is worth the extra money of a cheaper saw.

Good sturdy hold on blade reduces fatigue. Like the carry case. Nice thin-kerf blade also makes cutting easier.
