We have a tiny little coffee shop and we have been looking for ways to help reduce crowds by our counter during rushes, especially when we have customers that wander outside while their order is being prepared.The range is surprisingly good. We haven't tested it out past the edges of our parking lot, but in our experience it works at any reasonable distance.The system took a few minutes to get up and running, most of that spent taking pagers out of plastic bags. You need to attach one antenna, plug the base station in, and put the pagers into the slots. It takes up a pretty big chunk of counter space, but it holds a lot of pagers in a ready-to-use way. Each pager has a number, and to call that pager you type in the number and press the call button. You'll need to note down the pager number with your orders or seating waitlist but that's easy.24 pagers is total overkill for us, but over time some of the pagers may fail and the system is pretty inexpensive so that's OK.This could also be useful for other businesses beyond restaurants. If you have customers waiting for work to be finished, this could help move them away from your counter.

As soon as I saw these I knew I had to get them for my husband. He owns a car lot / mechanic shop and during this time of year it gets so busy! We had an idea to get one of these and then give them to the customers and it would be an easier way for them to call them up when their vehicle is done with the service. This came very well packed and secured with no damage and no missing pieces. Super easy to set up very user-friendly. We did not run into a single issue. Everything functions as intended and it's the perfect size as well. It vibrates just as it should and even makes a bit of a sound it's actually really great quality and we're very impressed. The range on it is really good and it's definitely worth every penny in my opinion! Solid 10 out of 10 great product
