I bough this disc to break up my existing lawn and reseed. Once if made some adjustments it broke through the sod easily and worked great for what I wanted to accomplish. It takes some work, but much more affordable than a large rototiller.

If you are planning a food plot this is NOT for you, Light weight and will not do any cutting even with 300LBS on it. maybe if you use it on BEACH SAND

I ran into a couple of issues. Both were handled quickly and I'm very satisfied with Agri-Fab. I had problems on the registration process on the website so I called them. I found out they are updating the site. The big problem was a rusted weld that had a hole straight through to the grease bearing on one side. They immediately sent replacement parts for both sides and told me to "go ahead and use the original parts until the replacement parts arrived or until they become to rusted. My choice." The seller shipped fast and had the best price I could find. Very happy with the purchase and I recommend both!

Ordered this product and received the wrong item. Amazon allowed me to print a return shipping label, but the "wrong product" is so large I have to go to an actual UPS shipping location to return ship it. It would not be bad if this location wasn't 30 plus miles away. Overall, this product is light and really needs weight added in order to get it to do anything. You can easily add cinderblocks on the top in the provided tray. I did order a hitch adapter which does not fit on the Impact Implements 1-Point Lift System for ATV/UTV with 2" Receivers that I ordered. I am using this item with a Honda Pioneer 700 UTV and the factory installed hitch sits to high to use this product without being able to drop it down about 6 to eight inches. I have yet to be successful at using this until I can find a way to mount it better.

I received the discs and the draw bar was missing. I called Agri Fab, and the customer service woman was very attentive and quick to order the missing part and the draw bar was shipped the next and I received it before the proposed receipt date. I used this to disc 1/2 acre to plant grass and it worked great. Only used it for 6 hours.

This product has very limited usefulness. If you were to pull it around in soft ground that has already been used the previous year, then it would probably work like a real tiller. Otherwise, its going to bounce around frantically. I piled on the concrete blocks to different levels and anchored them down with ratchet straps. But even on freshly plowed ground it only did the top couple inches. I adjusted it every which way. This lightweight product just can't do the job. I spent two hours running this thing. I could have gotten the job done 1000% better and faster using a walk behind tiller. This thing is good for one thing only. Mixing in seed. Otherwise, its a waste of money. I will never buy another thing like it. ITS A GIMMICK!

Some of the other reviews made me a little skeptical that this disc would get the job done that I was attempting, but it seems to be working out. My particular use case is cultivating small areas of land that have been cultivated in the past (meaning not hard packed ground) in the south. For this case, this disc seems fairly effective.Pros:1) Relatively inexpensive2) easy to set up3) can be used with my little lawn tractorCons:1) Requires a fairly hefty amount of weight to get the job done (200+ lbs in my case)2) Greatly affects the turning radius on my lawn tractor3) requires a sleeve hitch to be used properlyAll in all, for the price paid, it is a good deal. I was going to have to rent / hire someone to disc my area which would have cost me at least the price of this disc. I took the chance on this working, and it paid off.
