Attentions:
1. For the purpose of saving packing space, our office chair mats would be rolled when packaged. Rolling back, and the chair mat will be gradually flat over several hours.
2. When you open the package, you will find that the office chair mat has two different sides: One is smooth and the other side is rough. Please put the rough side up.
3.How to get the mats to lay flat when it's cold?
A: Use a hairdryer to slightly heat it up, the mat will gradually flatten.
B: Lay it flat the rolled side down, add weight on top of the mat. It will gradually flatten in 1-2 days.
C: Submerge it in warm water for a little while or expose it under the sun for hours until it flattens.

I'm pleased with this office chair mat. I just put it down and it looks good and functions as represented.The price was also very reasonable.I ordered the clear mat for a hardwood floor and kept it at room temperature for 3 days before unrolling it.Then flipped it over and laid it flat and placed books and objects on the corners to hold it flat for a couple hours. Then put it in place under the desk, and it works fine.There is an odor from the plastic which takes a few days to go away. This doesn't bother me, but some of the reviews have mentioned it. I would recommend following the instructions and not unfolding the mat until you keep it at room temperature for at least 2 days.

The mat does NOT smell as some say or at least mine did not smell. The mat was easy to unroll. Laid flat as soon as I laid it out and room where I did so was 62 degrees. The mat is very thin but appears to be durable. It is also smaller than the previous mats I had but then I purchased my previous mats at Office Max and paid 3Xs the price of this mat.For the money, this is perfect. When it wears out, one can easily purchase another.It does slide on my laminate flooring but I just pushed it under my desk and it stays in place.Very satisfied.

The chair mat seems to be what I need to protect my new vinyl flooring. The flooring is rated for offices that do not use mats, but I prefer to use the mat.I gave it a 4-star rating because the plastic smell still has not gone away after 2 weeks, and every few days I have to readjust the mat because it slides forward.

It has a strong plastic/chemical smell that I thought would fade in a few days. But it's been more than two weeks, and it still smells strongly. If you're sensitive to odors, I can't recommend it for that reason. It also slides (I have a LVT floor) quite a bit as I move my wheeled office chair, which causes an edge to jam up against either the wall or a desk leg, so the chair mat curls up there and I find myself moving it every day or two to correct it. I bought it to prevent wear and tear on my floor, though, and for that it does its job well.

Was exactly what I needed for the space allowed. Just let the sun work on it and it unfurled after a few hours. Very pleased with the purchase.

I got this for the office and our office had so many other smells I didn't really notice the smell of this after a few weeks. It would curl up though, and you'd have to flip it and matt it down with the chair every so often. In all, seemed like an ok value, but then I moved it to a new office location and thought I smelled a burning plastic/electrical smell. Thought it was the computer monitor overheating. Couldn't figure it out for days until I went sniffing around and realized it was this mat. It's terrible and so bad smelling that it's gotta be dangerous and is now breaking down. I have to throw it away. Whatever vinyl stuff they put this together with doesn't seem safe. Makes eyes water and makes me nauseated. Searching for a new on. I would steer clear of this.

I had no problem getting the Mat to lie flat when I got it out of the box. Of course, there was a little curling but, in a few minutes, it flattened out nicely. My desk chair rolls nicely on it. I have hardwood floors and so far, it is working well. No complaints.

We have been using this chair mat for a few months. Our office chair sits well on it. It did smell lightly when we spread it over our wooden floor. However that scent dissipated in a few days. We like it a lot. It covers the area specifically where we needed it. The chair glides on it without difficulty.

If I had one complaint with regards to this floor mat it would be that it differs in size compared to its replacement. Yes it is a advertised being 48 inches in length and 36 inches wide, but the cutout for the extension was different that my older floor mat. And since I happen to have a piece of ¼†wood underneath the floor mat due to it being on a carpeted surface, the difference is noticeable.For anyone purchasing new and just putting it under an office chair that happens to be on a hardwood floor or laminate surface, the size would be of no consequence in a new application.

It was rolled up when shipped to me. It was easy to roll out and put on the floor. It covers a good area, but 6 inches in each direction would be better. But it does do the job , the chair easily rolls over this product.
