Our old BMW leaks oil from the head gasket. Tired of the repair expenses and after the rusting metal drip pan stained the garage floor. We repainted the floor and selected this spill mat to replace the metal pan.You can't see the oil on this mat and I figure I can clean it when I pressure wash. So this item not only won't rust, it stays in place and hides the oil that does drip.This mat is large enough and stays put. Best thing is that if you walk over it you won't get oil on your shoes or slip.One day we'll fix the head gasket.

Works and is a decent size. I do wish it was wider as my oil leak is near my tire. If I don’t park on it just right, the oil missed the pad. Unless I slide the pad to the side which causes my tires to more the pad while driving over it and turning. So I pretty much need it to be in the center.

I was expecting a roll of rug material and I got a folded one. That simply means that it took a few days to flatten out on the garage floor. Other than that it is a fine mat and seems to work well under my BMW that likes to "Mark" its territory.

I started doing my own oil changes and they can get a little messy. This pad helps me to prevent the oil from staining the area where I’m working at. It’s thick enough so oil doesn’t leak through with a rubber like backing and soft cloth like top. The quality is great, protection from staining is excellent, no assembly required, you definitely get value for your money. If you don’t want your garage or driveway with unsightly stains buy this pad!

The only thing is that I didn’t like how flimsy it is because when you put it down under where the car is, it blows away if it’s windy and also leaves stick to it

I purchased this to place on my wheel chair carrier which is attached to my car with a tow hitch. I was worried about dirt & rocks flying up to damage the bottom of my wheelchair & hoped this would prevent that from happening. It does! I'm very pleased with it. I just cut the length & width to fit on the carrier & attached it with zip ties in several places so it won't blow off. It suits my needs perfectly.

But make sure you know your sizes. It's not perfect. But it works for a cheaper option.

My 1986 4runner is a constant project.Leaks are always happening when it sits and when I work on it. This mat is great, doesn't move when driving on it, doesn't leak through. Love this mat.
