Got this product to add track lights to my office corner to give more light for my plants. I had a single lamp in the corner already, with a ceiling light box already in the drywall, but wanted to get track-lights to give more coverage. This product uses a standard ceiling light base to attach to the box, with the “track†being just metal arms with lights attached. As such, it isn’t a true track light, but it does the job at adding many small light sources. I particularly like this approach since I can easily angle the arms how best to fit in the corner without needing to make more holes in my ceiling. Uses standard G10 bulbs, although in my case I am using G10 to E12 adapters for my special plant grow lights. Overall, I like the fixture and it does the job for my office setup.

The build quality is decent. It's basically just a few rods with wires running inside them. It's definitely not made of premium material but when it is hung up on the ceiling, nobody can tell whether it is a quality of porsche or a nissan versa track light. The one down side is the socket base is cheaply made. The bulb locks in just by the tension of the contactors. It's a twist lock mechanism so it will not fall off easily but it does feel a bit loose. You can improve the tension by bending the contactors inside the base. It's just a minor issue with the assembly quality.The installation is straight forward. It came with many parts to install to the ceiling. I didn't use most of parts that came in the package. The instruction doesn't tell much about the purpose of each part. It looks like a google translate from Mandarin to English. However, if you've had experienced installing any kind of light feature, the installation is a breeze.

I wanted the look and versatility of track lighting without the hassle and expense of installing the track system on the ceiling and dealing with the wiring. This fixture delivers. Installation is easy if there are two people to work on it.There are a ton of different bulb options, which you purchase yourself separately. You can go classic halogen, which is intense and hot or LED. I like the fine-tuning aspects of rotating and focusing the light where its needed.Check the measurements however— the fixture is smaller than the photos make it appear. It matches the measurements exactly but it may be smaller than the prospective buyer assumes.

I like the track lighting kit. It’s easy to assemble and the material seems good quality.My only complaint is that the sockets where the bulbs go into seems a bit flimsy and the bulb can be moved off center. You have to adjust the bulb once you orient it in the correct position.
