Writing a review because most were negative and I want to share. It's a great kitchen island and perfect for a smaller kitchen. What's also really great is that it is actually counter height where others on Amazon are dining room table height. The amount of excess storage is a plus with a sleek design.Things to consider: Two people assembly will cut down the building time. It took us 2 hours from start to finish. There are also a lot of pieces to connect annd we found it easier to organize anll the pieces before doing annything. The instruction sheet was thorough so follow it from the beginning and you won't have issues.The top has a split in the middle so if that bothers you, look at also purchasing a table runner so it's hidden.I hope the review helps those who might be in the fence. It's sturdy, sleek, and is perfect height.

This was the best money I could have spent in trying to formulate a solution for a kitchen with limited storage. Lots of parts and takes several hours to assemble but it is great quality for the price and looks just beautiful!! Quite sturdy and so much storage. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

Yo, buy the assembly with it man. Came in two big ole boxes and been putting it together for almost a month. I gave up and just paid somebody to come out and it took them 2 days to put it together. Assemble- DIFFICULTwood- cheap but aye what you expect? It’s Amazon.

Very nice way to extend our kitchen counter and storage space. Looks great also. We just removed our kitchen and needed the extra space. This was a economical way of doing this and improved the overall appearance of the kitchen.

I love the storage space of the island. It holds quite a bit. Room to seat 2 people and the counter top is big enough to do multiple culinary projects.The one item I'm not fond of is the top is split down the middle. But over all it was the best purchase I made from Amazon.
