Simple machine with plenty of leverage to crush cans easily. I wish it crushed them a little tighter, but I’ll stack a second can on top of the crushed one to compress them both down. Other than that it’s a great crusher for 12oz and 16oz

My husband has been a can collector and recycler since he was a kid. He has always used a manual steel head crusher to tamp them down and the noise drives me crazy, so I got him this to mount in the garage. He loves it! And I love that there isn't that tamp-tamp sound anymore.He says he has no issues crushing cans and the construction is quality. The taller cans don't quite fit unless you hold them a little but that's easy enough. All in all, cans get crushed quicker than the manual tamper, it's easy to use, and no more noisy sound!

This pneumatic can crusher from the NEWPO Store on Amazon did not arrive fully assembled. The only reference to that was one spot at the bottom of the product description on the product page where is says: Note: The working pressure of the product is 100psi, you need to connect an air compressor to use it. (Product comes with installation instructions need to assemble yourself). Easy to miss, yes?So apparently, according to that text, you need to assemble the installation instructions. Don't you just love Engrish?Still, it's a nice unit when assembled. According to the instructions, the fittings required wrapping with teflon tape before installing, never mind that they already appeared to have sealant applied. The instructions required reading with a magnifier, and in some places referred to the photos for assembly clarity. The photos were so small that even under magnification they provided no help.Of course one can (and must) refer back to the product page for help. Note that all photos showing the product in action have no air hose connected to the device, and one photo is particularly creepy, where a hand was Photoshopped in. The can frame is described as 6061-T6 aluminum alloy sheet metal as a benefit. Unexpectedly, a magnet sticks to it aggressively. It must be one of those aluminums made of steel.In one spot it says cans will be crushed to 1/10th their original size, in another it says 1/20th. Credibility is easily lost, and difficult to restore.The exit chute can only be attached so cans fall out in one direction. It would have been easy to make the frame so the chute could be attached either way, with only two holes to be drilled and tapped. but no dice.The so-called copper pneumatic joint, where the air source attaches, is attached directly to the air valve, making it awkward to attach an air hose for those of us with large hands.The paperwork included said please don't violate our patents and reverse engineer our products. Funny thing is that one assumes that that's how they got into this can crushing business to begin with. Since I only read project descriptions and reviews, three stars is the best I can give.

I got this for my brother and mom, who live together, and drink a lot of beer. They have a dedicated trash can for empties and empty it constantly. This will help to not fill that trash can so quickly and use a few less trash bags while they are at it. Just another way to help recycle, small change yes, but every bit counts

We recycle a lot of cans and they can get cumbersome very quickly. This makes it so much easier to store the cans until we can bring them to the recycling center. The wall mount is so convenient and easy to install. The crusher itself is heavy duty and durable, making it extremely effective at quickly crushing cans so they don't take up much room. I don't even have to put a lot of effort into the crush, which is nice.

This thing comes pre built, and is easy to install. Just plop it down on a stud and you are good to go! It is well made and works great. Don't have to use a ton of force to crush standard sized soda cans. This will work with the larger cans too, you just have to pre crush them a bit first. This is a good quality option for a manual can crusher!
