When I ordered this compressor hose assembly I had recently ordered two others. Those other two hoses came from the same manufacturing company and they are very nice assemblies that are priced very similar to this one. Consequently, when I saw this hose assembly come availableI, I just assumed it was from the same company. In time however, after receiving this hose and examining it, I realized it's not from the same manufacturer.The hose portion alone of this assembly is very nice. It's light and flexible, and it winds or unwinds easily. Also, the adapter connection protectors, at each end of the assembly, are a very nice feature to have and they can extend the life of the hose. On the other hand, the adapters included with this assembly are junk. They're light and rickety, one of them leaks on my assembly, and I can't even identify what kind of metal they're made of. What I can say is the adapters feel and function as the cheapest compressor hose adapters I've ever used and I do not expect them to last for any significant amount of time. Still, this isn't a horrible deal considering it's easy enough to switch to higher quality adapters. Still, if you look around just a little bit on Amazon there are assemblies with the exact same hose but very nice adapters for less than $5 additional cost over this hose.

and hooked it direct to my air tool, in this case a brad nail gun. Total overall less length and more maneuverable. Give the male end a couple or three good squirts via a pump oil can before use. I use Automatic Transmission oil. You must ensure that the oil goes a ways down the hose; Male connector higher than the air tool for a bit of timeI drill a hole in the side of my brad nailer case. Fits snug and I coil th remainder; all goes in a 2nd hand store back pack style wheeled carry on bag.

It got some protection but is not an air hose you can leave on the ground step all over. It is a 100' so works very well for getting air far from you air compressor. All things considered you can get a 3/8" PVC coated that can take more abuse for about the same price.
