I love how foamy and light this clay is! I got it for my kids as an indoor summer activity (heat index over 100f) The only, tiny, issue I found with it while we played was that it wanted to stay under my nails if i used them to shape or cut the clay, not so bad that i had to stop play time, and it did come back out. The bits that landed on my rug, were easily picked up quickly. There was NO color transfer to our hands, we used black, several shades of purple, several blues, and reds. (and other lighter colors, those just tend to stain the worst) Overall, I love it, my kiddos love it, and if you are looking for easy storage, this is the exact one you want. the lil tubs to hold clay is what swayed me for this one in particular product.

Looks like the product listing was updated to say this is foam clay, so I added a star to my review for this correction. However when I bought this that critical bit of information was not there. I kept the product and gave it a chance anyway since my kids were very eager to play with the clay. The clay feels like foam which is why it is lightweight. The foam clay dries quickly, appears to form cracks and sometimes separates. Lots of colors to choose from. Kids had a blast mixing them together and making their own creations. Though it does stick to its container a bit it doesn’t stick to hands as much. The colors also don’t stain the skin. There isn’t much of smell on them, you’d have to practically stick it up your nose to smell much.

I used this to create some foam clay figurines for christmas and they worked really well! The foam is so soft and not messy which is big for me since I get a little tactile-sensitive .

I don’t often review air dry clay, because we go through it very, very quickly. My grandson is 8, and is autistic. His special interest is shapes, and he spends a lot of time cutting shapes out of air dry dough. We average 2 boxes a month. From now on, this brand will be my go-to, for a couple of reasons.First, the containers with this brand are much more sturdy than other brands.Second, there’s no plastic layer to remove before you use the dough, which is really nice for grandma and grandpap lol

When I first took some of the clay out, some of the containers of clay were extremely sticky. It is very hard to sculpt it onto something when it is like that. You just need to kneed it for some time or leave it out a little so it will dry a little bit, and then it will be less sticky. Great for slime though!
