Really nice and loud. My little Prius is no longer a wimpy "meep-meep"! :-)Just a heads-up: On 2nd gen Priuses, you may have to take off the front bumper to get at where you might want to install it. (Since my mechanic had the bumper off anyway just to replace my headlights(*), I just had him install this at same time. Convenient.)Installing soemthing like this requires a relay (which comes with it) so it is not necessary super easy, but my mechanic at least found the instructions clear, and I appreciated the color illustrations. It looked like the manufacturer put care into the instructions rather than just making them a quick afterthought: They looked well laid out.The horn itself and all wiring and connectors looked and felt sturdier and higher quality than I have experienced in the past with a previous air horn from another manufacturer. This OTOH is a solid kit.In sum, for anyone wanting to beef up their horn, this is worth the money and well-made.(*) Yes, 2nd gen Priuses have to have their front bumper removed just to install replacement headlights. Toyota is normally brilliant. But this was a bone-head move from their engineering (or accounting?) department.

Love the horns and the idea. They're much louder than stock. Hopefully not too loud. I just wanted a functional horn without a huge assembly and compressor. These are perfect. I took a few extra steps like reusing brackets, blacking out, sealing all unneeded holes with silicone along with a dab on the wiring so it doesn't ever come lose, I also cleaned everything and made good solid grounds then blacked everything out. I chose to use my older wire and factory wiring with relay and beefed up amperage since the wires were thicker. I'll keep this stuff for a spare.Now let's hope they last. I'll update in a year or when and if they fail! Over all cheaper than stock and cooler

So hard on my new infield was a beep beep horn could hardly hear it in the garage so I bought this loud horn and yes it is very loud easy to hook up got a relay work the first time if you know what you're doing just follow the instructions it's all pictures nothing to read and very accurate so first time you push the button beware this thing is loud good price and it works loud

The horn is probably near what they say. I would estimate 130, but I don’t have a db sensor. Plenty loud for road use. Think of the canned air horns.Don’t be fooled by horn claims saying 400db, that simply is not possible. Look up a DB scale. (GTS) You will see that a nuclear bomb is around 240-280. You really think a car horn is blasting people off the road in front of you with a 12v battery.

I wanted a good and LOUD alarm for my OBS Ford. I wired this to my door jamb switches and boy is it loud. I sometimes forget to flip off the hidden activation switch and boy am I startled by the blast. Exactly what I was hoping for. I'm very happy with the purchase.

When I received this item, it had already been used and returned. Parts were loose in the bag and wires had been altered. I never tried to use it, so not sure if it is loud or even worked. I assumed someone had returned it for a reason. I will try another brand after I receive my refund.

Easy to install, works great and is very loud. Not like a train or semi but still loud. Scared plenty of old people who don't know what a shoulder check or mirror is.
