The old rubber air filter to carb connection was so old that it had shrunk and hardened, making it impossible to properly fasten it to both the carburetor and air filter box. It took me entirely too long to give up and order this replacement part, but when I finally did it worked, and fit perfectly. It has enough flex in it to make it easy to work into place, but no so much it feels like its going to rip/tear/wear out too quickly.Cant speak to longevity, but it worked, and i imagine it'll likely last for years.
