So I was able to use them today at a open feild in Georgia after a good rain and it wasvery humid today. They kept the fog low to none at all and even took a bunch of hits from dudes with hpa setups without any real damage :D.I'd for sure recommend these, there is one minor issue with the battery compartment being easy to loosen a battery but for the price it's not huge at all just pop it back and it's good to go.

Very pleased, best bang for the buck I've seen for anti-fog goggles.I purchased two of the model with fan for myself and daughter to use during airsoft play. The surround seems a bit stiff, yet I found I could press these into my face and let them relax and it was like they formed to my face a bit. We used them for an entire day and I found them very comfortable. The fans on ours are very quiet. If you wait to turn them on until the goggles fog it takes a minute to clear, if you leave them on I didn't really have fogging except a light amount on the outside lower edges after very active play and sweating on a 50 degree day. I found the fan to be very effective.Changing lenses was very easy, I chose to use the clear, my daughter used the tinted. She said even on the overcast day in the woods she could see fine. Very clear and good field of view.- 1 Star for the following reasons:The battery box is a bit cumbersome, but if you take a moment to study it, no problem. The band adjustment was a little odd and if you have a hat size below 6 3/4 you may find it difficult to adjust small enough.

What a peice of junk! The fan would randomly cut off in the middle of games and wouldn't turn back on. The battery pack or connectors are terrible quality and don't maintain power to the unit. I tried a couple of fixes from videos on YouTube and nothing worked. I ended up wiring a usb plug to the fan and connected it to a portable usb power bank to get it functioning.I will say that when the fan was running it eliminated fog. It just sucks that the components are bad quality.

So, for the price, this is a pretty good pair of goggles. And, when the fan is running, it is incredibly effective and they will never fog up. Even in really high-humidity conditions, the fan clears your vision in seconds... Key point being; when the fan is running. The battery box on the side is god-awful. Turn your head the wrong way, and a battery will pop itself away from its contacts. And just putting it back in is not enough, because it uses a push-button switch. Meaning that every time that the current flow is interrupted, you have to hit the button again to turn it back on. And often, hitting the said button is enough force to cause the battery to come loose again. You also have no tactile feedback with the button to know if the fan actually turned itself on, and like I mentioned it often does not. Worse still, the small circuit in the goggles puts a small parasitic draw on any batteries you leave in it while it is turned off. Truly, the electrical side of it is an utter nightmare. But, it is really baffling. Because all you need to do is cut off the existing battery box, and wire in one of those four-dollar 2AAA (For less bulkiness) or 2AA (For more capacity) battery boxes with an integrated slide switch. It genuinely fixes every major issue that the goggles have. And, honestly, probably would have been cheaper to produce than the stock battery box since it lacks a PCB.Note that the fan is really picky about voltage; so I would only stick to "Normal" battery sizes unless you can get some lipo cell that produces exactly 3v.With that one simple modification, they are great. I use mine for mechanic and landscaping work, and I never have issues seeing due to fog. But the goggles are obnoxious to deal with without it.

However, the fan (which is the main reason why I bought these) turns off easily when performing maneuvers, like running and diving for cover, or even just lightly jumping. The battery case doesn't secure the batteries well enough so they get bumped off of the terminals easily. I tried gluing foam to the inside of the cover to try and hold the batteries in place and even tried wrapping the batteries in electrical tape to try and give them a more snug fit, but with little to no luck. The lens also glare up terribly when the sun shines directly onto them, making it difficult to see into not-as-lit-up areas. I couldn't even see into shadowy areas either. I would sometimes play with a baseball cap or a boonie hat and use it to try and block the sun, but the goggles are built in such a way that they prevented me from properly wearing any kind of hat, defeating the purpose of trying to block any sunlight from shining onto the lens.Other gripes and complaints of mine include:A not-so proper fit when wearing them that created spaces large enough for potential BBs to fly through and feelings of soreness from extended use, but that could just be because of the shape of my face. Your experience can vary. The battery case is set up so that it sits on the side of your head. In my opinion, it should be set up so that it sits against the back of the head to allow you to wear other headwear and even radio headsets. On the plus side, I performed tests shooting the lens at 15ft, 5ft, 2ft away and right up against the lens with .25 Gram BBs and they held up, leaving some marks on the lens that can be buffed off. At 5ft and 2ft away, however, I could feel bumps on the inside of the lens, as well as when shooting with the barrel right against them (of course), so they will hold up in the event of being shot at point-blank. I would get another pair if I felt any bumps on the inside of the lens, however. So in the end, they are a pair of goggles with a built-in fan, but I gave them a 2/5 for the fan not working properly and sun glare. Get a pair from a well known company, like ESS. My ESS pair doesn't have a built-in fan, but they vent very well and have no sun glare at all. Plus, they are used by militaries, so THAT should tell you that they are quality. Your safety and eyesight shouldn't have a price cap. Do yourself a favor and shell out a few more $$ for a good pair of goggles.
