Important Components for Adjusting Your Car's Air Conditioning
The blower motor resistor is to regulate the speed of the blower motor. Usually installed together with the blower fan, you can find it below the passenger side console. It changes the current by adjusting the size of the resistor, thus controlling the speed of the blower motor. This allows you to adjust the air volume and temperature of the car's air conditioning or heating system, improving driving comfort.

This worked perfectly on my Mercedes Benz E350. The blower had stopped working, so I replace the motor and then it still would not work. Replacing this was a 10 minute job and it immediately started working!

In the first picture it shows the groves that the resistor is supposed to look into. The second is the one I took out. They are obviously are not the same!!Furthermore, I won't be able to return it because, while trying to get it to turn and lock, the knob was damaged. (last picture)

bought this for 2008 C300 Mercedes and was a perfect fit. AC was not blowing at full blast, just very little. After replacing with this product, AC back in business. Great price compared to others. Just hope it lasts for a long time. We will see.

I confirmed i needed a blower motor. got the resistor as I like to change these items in pairs ..this resistor only let my fan run for aprox one minute intervals..replaced with the stock piece.. cars happy again

Partner is a Mechanic and I needed this part for my Volvo V60 D4 15 reg. Original Volvo part was extortionate so ordered this in hope it would work but no real loss if it didn't. It works but only from fan level 4 up. It doesn't start the fan from speeds 1 to 3. I ended up buying a second hand original one which works from speed 1 to max.
