Important Components for Adjusting Your Car's Air Conditioning
The blower motor resistor is to regulate the speed of the blower motor. Usually installed together with the blower fan, you can find it below the passenger side console. It changes the current by adjusting the size of the resistor, thus controlling the speed of the blower motor. This allows you to adjust the air volume and temperature of the car's air conditioning or heating system, improving driving comfort.

Steps for using heat shrink tubing for wiring
1. Strip wires:
You will need to prepare a Crimping tool and a heat gun or a lighter beforehand.
- Remove the reserved insulation layer.
2. Sleeve tubing:
- Insert the wire into the connector tube, complete the crimping on one side before connecting the other side.
3. Crossing the line:
- Use Crimping tool to crimp the position of the wire and copper ring tightly to ensure a secure connection.
4. Heat:
- Heat connector tube, applying moderate and uniform heat to the entire tubing until it fully shrinks and tightly fits around the wire.

My pigtail connector and resistor were shot. 4 wires and two 8mm bolts later and everything is back to 100%. The length of wire on the new connector made it so I could route it much better. Just make sure you take pictures before you cut just in case. There is no wiring diagram.

This part will repair the condition on Fords where the fan motor just stops blowing. I'd been wiggling wires to get things back running for a year or so and finally got around to replacing the motor resistor/wiring connector.This kit has a new connector with larger gage wires to hopefully solve the thermal problems that older trucks can run into. My old motor resistor had signs of overheating when I replaced it with this kit. This is about as easy of a replacement as you can have while doing things under a dashboard. The new wiring harness has a new connector with about 10" long pre-stripped wires. The kit even comes with crimp connectors so all that you'll need is a pair of crimping pliers and some wire strippers (same tool often).

Used for 2013 F150, came with butt connectors and it was super easy to install! Most of all, problem of no blower fixed and will keep the pickup going a little longer!

This fit great in my 2013 f150. It was easy to install . My blower fan works .I won't have to open glovebox and wiggle the wires to get my blower fan to work.
