The role of the car blower motor resistor is to regulate the speed of the blower motor. Usually installed together with the blower fan, you can find it below the passenger side console (As shown in the following image). It changes the current by adjusting the size of the resistor, thus controlling the speed of the blower motor. This allows you to adjust the air volume and temperature of the car's air conditioning or heating system, improving driving comfort.

Exact fot for a 2001 Mercedes C320.So far no issues with controlling the fan as it should. Internally there was one observable difference to the original but could just be an upgrade, had one capacitor vs two on the original.
