So, ordered a Mainstays extension rod from another large online merchant, and it arrived bent and crimped on end, with cap loose in bag, and an inferior product. This AIZESI 2PCS White Tension Rod is better than expected. Both rods straight and uniform in shape, caps tightly on ends. With this rod, you need to measure approximate width/height, insert rod at an angle, then slide into place. Rod is being used with a light curtain in a high, small window. I thought it'd have a spring like my old rod, but this works. Very happy, especially since I couldn't examine rod prior to purchase and needed it immediately after other purchase fell through. Can't speak to weight capacity, but it's a light rod so be reasonable.

I am an older woman and not very good at assembling anything! - Once I figured it out - that the two inner pieces should be tightened and the outside pieces turned to extend, it worked out great.* However, I'm not sure if I needed the entire 72" that it would have been stable?I needed a 63" rod and it is working fine for that length!Nothing comes with directions anymore! - For 95% of people, this does not matter so much - but I wish anything that needs to be assembled, even as simple as this rod, would come with a paper. But, as far as the quality of the rod, and it remaining up now for over a week, I can say that I am pleased!Thank you!

Pretty easy to use once you start mimic around. Used it for extra under sink storage. Does the job. Make sure to tighten it really well

The rod is thin so would only be able to hold light non heavy curtains. It seems decent enough but I haven't actually set it up to know how the tension works. I am returning for something more sturdy. But it may work for lighter things

The rods look good - Well-made and finished, sturdy looking, and the threads for the twist-attachement are smooth and true. The rubber bumpers on the ends are about 1 1/8" at the widest, and the rods are about 7/8 inches in diameter.BUT: The rods won't adjust to fit all lengths between 34" and 58". Unless I'm missing something, these rods won't easliy fit spaces from about 41" to 49". I have window facings that are 47.5" apart. Two connected rod sections only extend from about 34" to 41.5". Three rod sections can adjust from about 49" to 57". So I can't figure how these rods can be used in spaces from 41.5" to 49". That's a huge gap to not be covered, in the 34 to 58 inch description!There's a bit of 'wiggle room' in the length, if you want to over-extend them, etc, but I'd be prepared to return if they won't fit. They are nice, and a great price - It might be worth taking a chance if returns are easy for you.
