Exactly what I needed to tie down a metal pergola to its concrete base. I used 12mm ties and 1/4 concrete anchors and they fit perfectly. Glad I measured correctly.

The "U" is a nearly perfect 2 in. But the depth of the U is about 1/8 in. less than 2 in. This is probably intentional to allow mounting to be snug. But may distort the roundness of very thin tubes/pipes, like the fiberglass I am using.

They're used for holding down a 4" PVC pipe on a roof rack on my truck topper. I use 4 of them spaced out evenly and didn't have any issues with them coming loose or causing any issues with the pipe over a 1,300 mile road trip that included close to 300 miles off road.

Very thick and sturdy clamps; worked great for my needs. Whatever fasteners you use to attach these would fail long before these clamps would ever break under an extremely heavy loading scenario.

I purchased these in 5/8†size and they worked very well. Forgot to check my history and needed some 1/2†ones, ordered a different brand and they were like tin foil! Sent them back just as quick as I got them and did a history search for the 5/8†ones… Found and purchased the 1/2†of this brand and they are perfect! Super sturdy and well made! – Won’t make that mistake again!!

Mine came with a nice polished finish, and were consistent dimensions with each other. They fit nicely around a 4" ID plastic pipe, so they are actually a little larger than 4", which worked great for me.

Fits 1 inch pipe however there is space between the tabs and mounting surface. Not sure if I will be able to install as is or will need to install a washer to fill the space. I will follow up with a further review after I have completed my installation and they have been in service for several months. I will be using these straps to hold my solar panels in place on my sailboat.
