This towel bar solved a problem for me - how to replace a broken towel bar without damaging the tile! It was easy to cut to size using a hack saw (needed a fine tooth saw blade). Once installed it looks good and is secure. It is not flimsy and supports heavy towels fine.

I have a home built in the late 70's when towel bars were plastered into the wall.The plastic rail part I ordered was to replace the old one that snapped.The rail itself is okay... clear plastic, but the diameter is smaller than I'd hoped. The rail also needs to be cut with a saw to fit for the spring ends to fit. It looks & feels very inexpensive and not sturdy.
