"Acacia" is the result of research carried out by its designer, Miriam Mirri, into the sweet world of honey. Her studies led her to design an object suitable for use with all of the different kinds of honey on the market. "Acacia" captures and serves the honey thanks to its unusual shape, which comprises a spoon and a facetted ball. During the design stage, Miriam Mirri was inspired by the structure of the honeycomb, evident in the hexagons on the ball.

Very unique and artistic. I saw this in a movie and it caught my eye so I searched for it - and of course Amazon had it! I use honey in my tea every day so I had to have this for my glass honey jar. It has some substance/weight to it and is a nice quality! It ‘grabs’ up the honey in the honey comb looking sphere and you just let it drizzle into your cup!

This is an outstanding quality product. I bought it as a gift, I am considering getting one myself. I have some other alessi gadgets, and I have never been disappointed with their functionally and beauty. This one is another piece of art, the honey basket is large and it will make it easy to stir and pour honey, it has been designed the way the structure forms a little star on it, sourround by the regular honeycomb pieces. It is abosulutely beautiful and a perfect size.

This metal dipper was only a tiny bit more than the nice olive wood. It collects the honey, but the angle makes it difficult to take out of the jar while turning, if the jar is less than full. Once free it takes a while for the honey to drip off and all of it doesn't come out. Looks pretty, but I'll stick to the traditional design when I need another.

Aesthetically pleasing honey dipper.I saw this unique honey dipper in Venice, Italy and kicked myself for not buying it. I am delighted to find it on Amazon, and for less than it cost in Italy.The honeycomb design catches and holds the honey from pot to mug. It adds a moment of beauty to a daily routine.

Super expensive honey dipper that is just stainless but I really love it. It's got a long handle and it is easy to use and really does make it easy to twirl the honey so it doesn't drip on everything. It would make a very nice gift for a tea drinker but I wouldn't spend that much on a honey dipper for someone who would never use it.

It holds enough honey for a biscuit or toast. It's beautiful, It's easy to clean. And so far unbreakable, unlike the little wooden honey dippers.
