Your cart is empty."Sbriciola" is a Bread board, easy to use also but not only in the kitchen, designed by Anna and Gian Franco Gasparini, with large lengthwise slits and a little drawer that holds the crumbs falling through the slits. The drawer is separated into two compartments - the smaller one houses the bread knife and is located under the slit-free part so the crumbs don't get in; the second one is the same size as the slitted area, so it can collect the crumbs that form when you cut the bread.

It's really high-quality crumb catcher and I bought it because I liked the drawer and the place for the cutting knife.The only complaint I have is that opening the drawer requires a little force.

This beautiful board is used daily. Gorgeous and practical. The crumbs go to the bottom tray for easy clean up. ALESSI never disappoints!

Wood is nice. Issue is tray underneath that comes in an ugly, old-fashioned mustard/yellow-ish color (easy to miss in pictures) instead of for example a crisp white or modern gray. Tray also not always easy to get out to clean. Expected more for the price.

Effectively catches the crumbs generated when slicing bread and I like the fact the grill is flush with the board, unlike other similar products. Very easy to pull out the drawer to empty the crumbs and wash when necessary. It is so convenient to leave the bread knife in the drawer. I wash the drawer and the knife about once a week. I love this set up - it is genius.
