If you have the original bulbs. GET THESE. The improvement is stupendous! Literally night and day. Only thing is, if you have a 95 Cherokee, expect them NOT to be a perfect fit. BUT. Bend the ends just a little, and you are good to go. Use a needle nose plyers and be very careful to ONLY torque the wire ends. These do not bend easily. Just saying, if you aren't careful, you COULD crack the circuit board. And... That ain't good. Anyway, don't try bending these by hand, because it is hard to get the right amount of pressure to bend these. Needle nose plyer, just bending the last couple of mm to shorten the length just a little, worked perfect for me. So... Only four stats for ease of install because I had to bend it.

I was a bit wary of some of the reviews stating this was not a good replacement bulb for my 95 Jeep Cherokee. A couple of other reviews said that all you need is a pair of needle nose pliers and a bit of bending on the end loop wires and you’re good to go. That was definitely the case for me. The bulb would have never fit unless I bent the end loops up just a touch. Perfect fit now and they’re nice and bright! Very happy with them.

I ordered this set of two replacement “festoon†lamps (still haven’t figured out what a festoon is) for my Corvette’s floor courtesy light fixtures and couldn’t be happier. Very bright and white just the way I hoped. This particular make of light is a little more sophisticated than your typical multi-chip assembly of LEDs as it contains a smart voltage controlling circuit that is not polarity sensitive or voltage sensitive, meaning, they won’t flicker with vehicle voltage fluctuations and they can be installed in the fixture with no regard to direction. They will always work, no “50-50†chance that you installed it correctly. I just ordered two more - one as a spare and one that I do need to modify with new end loops so I can aim the chips 90° away from the supplied orientation. Easy mod for me to perform.

Tried to use these "festoon" bulbs in a '96 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) dome lights and they didn't fit properly. The loops at the end were the wrong distance from the electrical prongs and needed some bending. Unfortunately, trying to bend one of the bulb loops to fit the dome light resulted in it snapping and breaking. Oh well, they were cheap. For the one that did get put in, it gives off brighter, whiter light than the regular incandescent bulb.

I liked the design, the fit and the price. I would like to make a suggestion though. The way the clips that hold the front and rear bulbs in the lights, the light is not positioned facing the lens properly. The wire ends should either be twisted to accommodate or made in a tube shape with chips all around the board so it wouldn't matter the direction it's facing. I only say this because you lose a little light. They are very bright though.

The inside of my car is so bright. It looks like I upgraded to a 2022 model it’s amazing. The light buzzes a little but I think it has to do with my car my old one made a humming sound too but it doesn’t bug me.
