This kit comes with 3 colors: Mahogany, Cherry, and Oak (from darkest to lightest). This is a super easy way to cover up light scratches in wood.Start with the correct color for your wood and color *with* the grain of the wood. Then quickly use your finger to smudge the ink before it dries, or else you'll be left with a fake mark that looks like someone used a marker. Multiple light layers are better than one dark layer of ink; repeat a few times until it's as dark as you want it.If you're a stickler for blending, use one of the other markers on your repair spot to increase the color variations and make it look more natural.Don't worry, it will look better the next day! I am looking at my desk right now and I can't even find the scratches I repaired last night.

Markers go dry pretty fast and I needed stronger output for antiques that had some wear and tear. Also for flooring that dog nails scratch just in daily, weekly, monthly wear and tear. People too.

I’ve purchased similar touch-up markers before (different brands), and I should have learned my lesson—but I was desperate to fix some scratches. Unfortunately, these were no better. The markers were dried out and barely covered anything. Total waste of money. If you’re looking for an actual fix, I’d recommend trying something else.
