My daughter has been using it to make bowls and vases and works great! She loves it and makes some cute pottery

Has everything needed to get started. Motor could have been a bit more robust, it’s weak and makes larger pieces difficult but suitable for a drinking cup

I am amazed how well thought through this product is, it is very compact and has everything you need to get started and trying your hand at pottery!Its a real fun thing for kids, my kids immensely enjoyed using it and very excited with their creations.Its very compact, built with very good quality materials, the wheel is very stable and you can control the speed as you get the hang of it, its well priced for a starter kit and overall a great kit.

Just no, it is literally for a 2 year olds playdough... Even then it will not spin well and will break quickly. Returned and got a really big table on sale for about 20$ more than this pile of junk. It is tiny, and does not spin with any resistance. Horrible value. Just avoid.

I really wanted to love this set that I got for my daughter for Christmas.It’s just not as great as an actual wheel.

I got this item out of hesitation and was not sure how the item will look and feel but I am impressed my daughter is absolutely loving them item its compact and easy to use, various speed settings, good quality, and must say value for money. Highly recommended

This is great for kids. There is speed control switch and pedal speed control. The clay is extremely hard and dry but once wet works well. Easy to clean up after. Includes a lot of tools to shape and mold the clay.

This is a great pottery wheel kit, that comes with everything to need for at least 3 small projects right off the bat, as it comes with 3 lumps of air dry clay to use (and more can be purchased through Amazon). All the included accessories, paints, brushes, and sculpting tools (and there is a generous selection of them), all work fine and well, but are just ok in quality. Obviously, none of the tools are professional level in any way. They are all made out of plastic (tips and handles), but still work quite well, they just might not be as durable or as precise. One thing I do want to note however, is that the sculpting tools do come apart (tips separate from the handle), though not while using. I don’t necessarily know if that’s how it’s supposed to be, but they can or do. Maybe it’s for cleaning purposes? Regardless, all of this is actually okay and not a deal breaker, because this kit is really meant for fun, and can be used for getting a feel for pottery before getting into more serious tooling and equipment. Even it’s compact size is great, because it limits it to smaller and more manageable projects. I think this make for a great gift for all ages including young children. It might be a little messy for them, but again, it’s pretty fun for anyone to be able to create or sculpt something out of clay. Now, the most important thing of the kit is the pottery wheel itself. To my surprise, it’s actually better constructed than I had expected it to be. It is still mostly plastic and light, so you do have to be wary of that when using it but, the toggles and knobs work well and are easy to handle and adjust. The pedal, also all plastic, seem to function pretty good but, it is only used for pausing and not for speed control. It is also very light. I would have like to have seen the pedal a bit more weighted to stay better anchored but again, it works fine as is. To my surprise, the (4.7”) platter is made out of some sort of die cast metal. This helps keep the platter rigid, and also gives the platter some weight to keep it more stable when spinning. The other great feature on the pottery wheel is that the platter and water reservoir are both full removable for easy and complete cleaning. With everything great about this pottery wheel, there is one con, and that is the power cord. It is only about 3’ long. For most people, that is not nearly long enough to reach most plugins unless it, right in front of you. Not a deal breaker but, you’ll probably need an extension cord, to go along with this. Overall, this pottery kit makes for a great gift for anyone. It’s easy to setup, it works great, and it doesn’t take up a lot of space (in use or storage). At the time of this review the MSRP is $99.00, with a coupon for $30, making it a great value at about $70. At full price it’s not that bad for what you get but, I would suggest waiting for the sale on this one.

This is such a great kit to experiment with pottery, It comes with nearly everything you need. The wheel has a decent motor (not a weak kiddie toy). It comes with three blocks of clay, enough to do a few small projects and get the hang of using the wheel.

Don’t even look at this one. Extremely cheaply made. The drive mechanism is made of plastic components. The wheel rotated off centre. Beginners have enough trouble centering their clay. Please don’t purchase.

This thing is soooo ridiculously cute! The minty green color is just delightful and makes it a charming addition to my workspace.Now, onto the good stuff! This kit comes with everything you need to complete a small project or two, which is perfect for beginners like me. I whipped up a tiny doll-sized tea cup set and even attempted a quirky vase. Let me tell you, working with the clay isn’t exactly a walk in the park; it takes some practice to get the hang of it. But the fun factor is off the charts!The electric clay wheel has adjustable speed and forward/reverse rotation, making it pretty versatile for different projects. I can already see myself setting up a display of my first throws to my most recent creations and tracking my improvement over time.Overall, the Alldeer Mini Pottery Wheel Kit is a fantastic way to dip your toes into pottery. It’s adorable, functional, and most importantly, a whole lot of fun! If you’re looking to explore a new hobby, this little gem is definitely worth checking out!
