Safety lock wire, not much to quantify really.Seems bendy enough, twists nicely and harden's up to lock well.There was even a heat number on the container for tracability if needed.(Container is cardboard with plastic ends but seems up to the job okay.

Allstar safety wire - the container is plastic and is the correct thickness to be sturdy. The wire pulls out cleanly. Amazon had the best price. It will be a while before I can verify if it high quality-enough stainless to not rust outdoors, but it appears to be.

warm it up before use if you're in a cold climate and it won't snap easily. loop it around a few times for extra security, and you're golden. i used this stuff to hold a 2x4 and a piece of flat iron to a trailer beam when the axle was too close for comfort when we loaded an old trailer down too much, it got us from southern california to washington with no problems even though we hit quite a few bumps and potholes. it does what it's supposed to do, and can't beat the price for overnight shipping convenience.

Good, strong, and quite a bit of wire. No idea how many feet, but I have used at least 50' so far and it doesn't seem to have put much of a dent in the can overall.

I bought this wire for use with the clamptite tool. it works great for splicing garden hose and I would use it on anything up to 1.5 inches thick. over that I would get the 0.041 wire. this wire is nice and flexible though which is great for clamping.

Literally the worst safety wire I have ever used. Normally I use a 0.021" safety wire by another brand. Needed something a bit stronger so I bought this as it as much larger diameter and therefor I thought would be stronger. This wire was weaker than the smaller wire I normally use. Total garbage.

I use safety wire for everything from aviation turnbuckles, to hanging heavy photo/art frames. Very handy stuff. It also works with any safety wire pliers. This is a good thickness and maleability for general safety wire use, and for the price it's a great deal.

The safety wire arrived on time and was packaged properly. It appears to be of high quality. Admittedly I know very little about safety wire but I've used this product on a few items and it works the way I wanted it to. Very handy to have on hand.
