The braided stainless steel outer covering resists abrasion and corrosion. Ideal for use where bending and flexing occur. More durable than rubber hose. Lengths stated are overall end to end including fittings.

Used for a 4an line to an oil pressure gauge. I used a 1/8 NPT nipple from the oil sending unit port in the block to a 1/8 NPT tee. Factory sending unit in one port, a 4an to 1/8 NPT adapter on the other. I then ran this line to the psi gauge, connecting the 1/8" NPT end to the same thread on the gauge using a 1/8" NPT union. The adaptor I used was a Kraken Automotive 1/8 NPT to 4AN found here on Amazon.A quick note on PSI gauges in general - NEVER trust the nylon line that comes with them. A steel or copper compression line is indeed better, but will also fatigue in time. Pumping all your oil directly on the entire length of the drag strip will NOT make you any friends!!

The stainless steel braided line was manufactured as you would expect. Braids were neat & clean. Threads were smooth and fastened effortlessly. Once assembled there were no leaks! I'm happy with this purchase!

The female end is actually a 4 AN, the male end is 1/8†NPT. The description is wrong in the ad otherwise it’s a good product and seams like it will hold up well. 5 stars if the description was right.

Good quality but the threads are metric thread and the description did not state that the threads are metric.

I should have read the reviews. As others have stated, the female end is not NPT thread. I believe it is a -4an. I had to order an adapter to use it. The package label says "#4 line -4 str/ 1/8"NPT.It does appear to be good quality though.

The AN end was fine. The MNPT end didn't have the threads cut deeply enough and I had to use a die to clean the threads up. Other than that it appears to be fine.

Quality of line was fine, but as other reviews state these are not npt thread and I couldn't find anything that threaded into them

These flex lines look like they're well made but the thread type is unknown.. I could not find a adapter to convert these to work with my car.. Ended up returning them.
